holy shit this half price books by me has Panteras I am the Night and Bathorys Hammerheart
together a cool 400 so I shan't be getting either but man might be the coolest things I've seen in a HPB ever
Not Houston, but during lockdown I found a decent copy of AMM/MVE (weirdo electronica from the Sixties) split from the Deton-ish HPB. So stoked to track that down. A few months later, I scored a copy of a Frank Wright jazz album I’d been searching for at the same place. I put it on my list of places to watch for.
If that Hammerheart is NM, I’d be selling some plasma if I were you.
it's the gatefold edition, only $100 but I so shouldn't.
seems like they were both in line w what they go for on discogs so at the very least I wasn't missing a bargain
did walk out w Judy Garland at home at the palace, which I thinkkkkk was her last show, maybe not last but pretty close
some Houston area garageland definitely dumped a bunch of stuff there though, Paradise Lost, Candlemass, Razor, Necrophagia, that were all ~$50+, and then some cheaper bands I'd never heard of that felt like they came in the same batch mixed in w all the loggins and Messina records

I’m wading in Loggins/Massina albums from this collection. I have managed to turn up an original pressing of both Kind of Blue and What’s Going On. Random scores off the top of my head are a Kim Fowley album and a wtf Fleetwood Mac bootleg from Italy in the 80’s. Pretty deep in country right now but it’s taking forever. I never wanna see a fucking Conway Twitty record again.

That’s a solid start to a list, btw. If you’re not sure of the cheaper bands, gimme a holler and I’ll see if I can help.

I keep getting a Roxy Music complete studio albums box set as a sponsored ad and have to quickly scroll by it. It’s $200 and I’m trying to save before the Big Ears festival drops its tickets.
As much as Barnes and Noble are underrated in what they carry in store, somebody sure doesnt know how to take care of their stock. It was the last copy for Tori and wasnt going to pay $8 to ship something I only had to go across town for.

working my way through this but it looks like we're on "vol. 3" of the release of these tracks on Spotify.
metallica has a playlist running, starting to go through them. really liking Phoebe's Nothing else
Hahaha, all the Target’s around where I live sold out of their stock yesterday. I pre ordered the Urban version for a friend in the uk and it still hasnt even shipped yet.
Speaking of which, did anyone pre order Infinite Granite? I know EU orders got delayed and plenty of domestic orders got shipped but I got zero notification on mine which sucks.
I wish these things would get released/announced all at once. Already pre-ordered the blue and orange order from ATO. And the one you posted is more limited (500 copies) and cheaper, too.

yeah it's not too much difference, I looked up the regular press after I posted, but I assumed the cover was also different
Radiohead is undoubtedly my favorite band but I don’t think I’m gonna jump on this. I’m not really that excited over this release.
Fucking bullshit trying to get the indie red domestically right now. Bullmoose and Amoeba had it but lots of people got denied when trying to check out. so stupid
