If you look to the left when you walk in the port-o there will be a little urinal there. Use that and you don't have to touch the seat.

It's funny you would mention that because on a visit to Japan I stayed in a very nice hotel with very nice rooms and large bathroom which even included a seperate room for the comode and a urinal. The next morning when we were all picked up the leader of the group asked us how we enjoyed the nice accomodations and if we appreciated the urinal in the bathroom. Most of us said we really like that idea and wished more hotels would instal them. He then proceded to welcome us to Japan and inform us that what we all thought was a urinal, and had used as such. was actualy a little sink in which we were supposed to wash our hands when we were done using the high tech japanese toilet. Needless to say we all had a good laugh at ourselves over that one.
Isn't it common sense by now to know where to do bussiness? I mean even if i am whacked out or drunk i can still make out what to do when needing to use the bathroom , which i use a lot when i drink. Some how i think deep down the people who do that are evil and don't care too much for people thats why they do it. They have a interior motive, not that they cannot differ one from the other.
I think you're right and that's whay I started this thread. To appeal to these kind of people (Not that there are any among the fine folks at Inforoo) to act like a human being and remember that some poor girl has to sit on that seat you just peed all over.
It's a tireless crusade, but if I can stop just one @ss from touching pee then it will have all been worth it.

Did you know that there are relatively few germs on a toilet seat when you compare it to how many germs are on the door knob in public restrooms? It's pretty gross. I get disgusted when I go to shows and see how many guys do not wash their hands after taking a piss.
You want to hear something grosser? When you flush a toilet in a public restroom, especially the ones with the high powered flushers, that droplets of toilet water can shoot as far as 20ft out of the toilet. So you are getting covered in whatever you left in the toilet when you flush.
But yeah, I still don't sit on public toilet seats.

The portos at Waka had a nifty little seat that automatically lifted itself when you finished your business and stood up. It had a little tab for you to hold to keep it down while sitting... I never saw a dribble of wiz on the seat! I praise the person who invented that seat!
The worst thing about those automatic flushing toilets is when they flush and you're still sitting on them. Hooray, my piss-water just got sprayed all over my bum. ???
I don't mind my butt on a seat, as long as it appears clean. But I will NOT touch the flush handle. I use my foot or a piece of TP to touch it.
It's awesome teaching your young girls how to "hover" over a public toilet. <insert sarcasm> Or holding the 3-yr. old over the seat because she's too short to hover and she accidentally pees on the knee of your pants.

You never know what you're capable of doing. Like sifting through every #2 your child has for several days looking for the Littlest Pet Shop puppy she accidentally swallowed. That's real love right there.

I am a little freaked out over this issue as I'm going with my bf of only six months. I am not in that comfortable place yet where I can poo while he's anywhere in the vicinity (we have a porta-loo for our campsite). Topic of conversation on the drive down there, apparently!
