1. Rodrigo y Gabriela - was in the pit for this one..never seen anything like it in my life..Gabriela is the most amazing guitar player I have ever seen and the knuckle tapping while strumming...wow!
2. NIN - amazing set... all the lighters and people singing along during Hurt was awesome
3. David Byrne - loved the dancers on stage and Once in a Lifetime into Life During Wartime was amazing!!
4. Phish Friday- my first Phish show..nuff said
5. Of Montreal - loved the theatrics
6. Galactic - Ive never heard trombones make sounds like that!
7. Mars Volta
8. Phish Sunday - Bruce and Phish = phenomenal
9. Girl Talk - uh..well this might be due to some lovely little pills...
Well, sadly I didn't get to see any shows on Thursday or Sunday, because I was working Thursday and my ride home left early Sunday. But between Friday and Saturday:
1. Public Enemy 2. Nine Inch Nails 3. Wilco 4. Beastie Boys 5. Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Didn't get in til late friday, so my weekend started with the Beasties.
Top 10:
1) Phish Friday 2) Phish Sunday 3) Del McCoury Band 4) moe./Grace Potter 5) Band of Horses 6) Wailing Souls 7) David Grisman Quintet 8) Okkervil River 9) Tony Rice 10) Beastie Boys

10) Rodrigo y Gabriela - Very nice.
9) David Byrne - A little "showy" and I didn't get my "Road to Nowhere", but otherwise solid.
8) Brett Dennon - Boy's got soul if your not too manly for laid back rock.
7) Moe. - I didn't stay for the marathon (those who did probably had a bad time Sunday morning), but what I heard was good.
6) Wilco - So good.
5) Andrew Bird - Maybe it was the heat and exhaustion, but my wife and I just laid down in the shade of a tree and stared at the clouds while very beautiful music cascades around us. A much needed recharge.
4) Alejandro Escovedo - The man's been doing it a long time and it's nice to see others list him here. He and his band rock. I recently saw an intimate acoustic show of his, just him and the other guitarist, that was equally cool.
3) Phish Friday - See #2.
2) Phish Sunday - I've been listening to Phish for a long time and, though it wasn't the most unpredictable setlist, the playing is better than it's been in a decade. The Bruce sit in was cool.
1) Katzenjammer - The harmonies were perfect and brought tears to my eyes. I have never seen such a tight and energetic show in all my life. The talent was amazing (they all switched instruments, with several of them simultaneously playing drums and an additional instrument, like trumpet or mandolin). They're all stunningly cute as well. I think they won some fans. Don't miss them if they come within 2 hours of you. Buy the album with confidence.
1. Beastie Boys 2. Wilco 3. Grizzly Bear 4. Michael and Michael Have Issues 5. Daily Show 6. Ben Harper and Relentless7 7. Public Enemy 8. Mars Volta 9. MURS 10. end of David Byrne

Both Phish shows were unbelievable, but the next best for me were: Wilco, Byrne, MGMT, Band of Horses, YYYs, Alberta Cross, Delta Spirit, Katzenjammer, Bon Iver
I also enjoyed AA Bondy, mostly b/c he's been in frequent rotation on my ipod lately. The best show from a band I had not listened to in advance was Hockey.
These are really the only acts that stuck out to me:
1. The Decemberists - so much energy, and I loved the Heart cover they closed with! 2. David Byrne - great set list, great energy, just wish I could see him in a smaller venue sometime! 3. Jimmy Buffet - I honestly wasn't expecting this to be a good show, but it was so chill and laid back, everyone was singing along... a great way to start Saturday. 4. Andrew Bird - he was everything I was expecting! I thought I might cry when he played Tables and Chairs. 5. Phish on Sunday - wasn't feeling them on Friday night, but the Sunday show was a lot more fun, esp. with the Bruce appearance. 6. Girl Talk - really wanted to be closer for this one, but at least we had plenty of dancing room!

Portugal. The Man 9. Kaki King she is amazing 10. Public Enemy we didn't make it to this show, we watched 90 min. of phish and were too tired and went back to camp
Honorable Mention: Moe. (Didn't really see all of it, but heard most of it. 7 Hours? Holy cow.
May change once I wake up some more, and remember who all I saw.

1. Bruce Springsteen - I'm a huge fan, and we had good spots. Everyone was just going nuts and partying. Thunder Road and Rosalita brought some of my biggest smiles of the weekend 2. Bon Iver - Absolutely beautiful. The Yo La Tengo cover was great and the material translates amazingly well live. 3. Phish (Friday) - I left early so I didn't catch the Sunday set, but honestly, I couldn't have asked for much more. I haven't really listened to them in 5 years, so it was really crazy as all my memories of lyrics and the songs came flooding back in real time, but suffice it to say, they rocked it. Harry Hood was my highlight. 4. David Byrne - A really fun set with a neat stage show and an outstanding setlist. Houses in Motion was unexpected and killed it 5. Neko Case - Had never seen her before but it was beautiful. I would've traded the Triumph bit for Star Witness or Magpie to the Morning, but it was a great way to end my weekend 6. Wilco - It was my 9th time seeing them. Much better than in 07, and the new songs were outstanding. Pot Kettle Black was also a treat. What can I say? They never disappoint and were a perfect pallet cleanser for the Boss 7. The Dirty Projectors - My first "wow" moment of the festival. A perfect setlist containing the majority of Bitte Orca as well as some highlights from their back catalog. Knotty Pine brought everyone in the crowd together. 8. Okkervil River - I was kind of off-put by how sloppy it was since I had seen so many tight bands over the festival, but once I settled into it, I ate it up. A Stone was a total surprise and was welcome. I was also stoked to hear Westfall 9. Yeasayer - Not my favorite set musically, but I had a blast. My friend had gone to sleep after Bruce so I was alone for this one. Ended up dancing with a random group of people for the set outside of the tent. All I could think of when it ended was "This is what Bonnaroo is all about" 10. TV on the Radio - Surprised about the complaints about the sound. I was on the right side of the mixing booth and thought it sounded good. They had a lot of energy and played a nice setlist (No DLZ though!). The guy playing sax added a lot too.
Honorable Mentions: Allen Toussaint (Everything I Play Gon' Be Funky!), Janelle Monae, Passion Pit

I'm glad someone else was at this show. I was surprised by how well the more electronic songs came across in the live arrangements. Sabali in particular was much better live than on the album.

Yes, this show was tremendous... wish I could have caught the beginning. I showed up during "Batoman" which is one of my favorites. I don't love the album version of "Sabali", but it was excellent live. The highlight for me was "Masiteladi". The guitar-bass interplay on that one was spectacular. They have such a kickin backing band.
I've been trying to talk them up on here since I started posting on this board. Those that went to their show know why.
10. Animal Collective: Great show, the setlist was incredibly predictable and they needed a light show. Too bad it was at 2 in the afternnoon. 9. Yeah Yeah Yeahs: Maps and Heads will Role blew me away. I wish I was closer for this show. 8. Andrew Bird: Didn't catch all of it but what I saw was fantastic. Third time to see him this year, never gets old. 7. Erykah Badu: Was kinda far away for this show but it was still so enjoyable. I loved the version of Apple Tree that she did. 6. Passion Pit: Great way to start off the festival. I love this band. 5. Allen Toussaint: Was front row center for the high priest of New Orleans music. He was incredibly funny during his set and his set was perfect. 4. Band of Horses: Great way to end the festival bc I had to leave before Phish unfortunately. Finally, seeing The Funeral live blew me away completely. Amazing. 3. Raphael Saadiq: I had high expectations for him and Raphael surpasses every one of them. The cover of Search and Destroy was a complete surprise. 2. Ben Harper & Relentless7: Wasn't even planning on going to this show, but I am so glad I did. I am now a huge Ben Harper fan. Can't wait to see him again at ACL. 1. Wilco: I expected this to be my favorite. Mr. Tweedy and co. just flat out tore it up. Great, great setlist. I loved every second of it.
