I asked Jonathan Mayers (President of Superfly) for his Infinity Pass before the arch was opened up on Thurs (I got the funniest look, he reached up to grab it and give it to me and then shook his head and laughed). Had a nice long chat with Guy Burwell (Poster Artist) in the Poster Tents. Chilled in the Pollock tent for a while watching him make some prints, he's quite personable btw.

I had a friend see Drew and Justin at the Volta show and someone else said Drew would get smashed in the VIP section at night.
Also one of my friends was next to Danny Tamberelli (from Pete and Pete and All That) during Cage the Elephant.
I saw I'm pretty sure was the singer from Chairlift leaving Animal Collective.
Also Brett Dennen was right behind me in the check in line at Nashville airport. He was so excited just to be at Bonnaroo I had no idea he was an artist until I saw his guitar case and recognized the name. He was totally laid back and was happy someone recognized him. I kinda wish I saw his show now.
I also saw a bunch of famous people play on stages.
i saw raab himself from jackass wandering around centeroo. i also got a pic with paul oakenfold who walked by me as i was watching public enemy's set at this tent.
yeah Raab Himself was right behind me at the Portugal. the man. acoustic set. I was really confused. It was really weird to see that guy, haha.
No way! Was he liked just standing there in the middle of the crowd? I can't imagine after a 3 hour show when he's 60 AND had a cold that he would have the energy to go to MGMT. If so that's amazing.

He played with Phish the next night i mean that can be a lot too.

Ran into most of the guys from Alberta Cross (I think it was at the Hockey set) and on Friday afternoon St Vincent walked pass us heading toward Centeroo... (she's really cute). I think it's pretty cool that many of the musicians seem to enjoy mingling with us common folk.
Amazing: Phish, Bruce, Amadou & Mariam, Vieux Farke Toure, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Wilco, NIN Good to great: Animal Collective, NIN, Jimmy Buffet, King Sunny Ade, Tobacco, MGMT, Passion Pit, Kraak & Smack Glad to have seen: Oakenfold, Grizzly Bear, Beastie Boys, of Montreal, Snoop Dogg
I stood near Robert Smigel and 'Triumph' in the pit for Bruce. He is obviously a huge Bruce fan was having an absolute blast. He had the puppet out the whole time. I was cracking up watching him clap with the puppet on his right hand and smacking ol' Triumph on top of the head with his left. After the show I talked briefly to him and got a pic. Very cool guy.
I saw Sophia Bush, I think that's her name. She's on One Tree Hill. My friend knew more about who she was than I did. And Drew Barrymore and Justin Long.
I saw someoene that I thought looked exactly like Sophia Bush so maybe it was her. She was carrying a Coach bag.
I met Kyp Malone of TVOTR on friday night in Centeroo. He was really nice. I originally just approached him to tell him how much I enjoyed his set and he asked me my name, shook my hand and took a pic.

Looks like he was on the side of the stage. I didn't see him but saw a video of him there on youtube. Here's the link:
If you ask me that's pretty badass, and very cool to see that he takes an interest in the other bands playing the fest. Knowing that he stuck around to play with Phish, I wonder what other shows he checked out on Sunday...
lets see... my friends met Alberta Cross, I saw Kaki King taking serious notes at Mars Volta, the Boss watching Citizen Cope, was really freaked out to see Little Pete at Andrew Bird and excited that MMJ would come out for Phish after seeing the drummer.

I saw David Byrne chillin on the side during TV On The Radio's set, he had on a weird little khaki golf hat. I also saw Jesus about 15 times throughout the weekend. (I swear some of the wooks could fool the Vatican with their Jesus resemblance)
"It's hard to say whether seeing Kellz backed by Jim James and his lion's mane hairdo or Billy Idol rocking out next to John Oates and his soul patch was weirder to watch. Let's just say both were beautifully bizarre sights to behold."
I met the guitar player from Everest (not famous, but still pretty cool to me). I told him that the show rocked and he said that he dug my shirt (an MMJ one) and talked about touring with them. Very cool guy.
we saw bon iver (justin vernon) eating breakfast by himself saturday a.m. at waffle house.
Somehow that seems about right for him.
I don't know how "famous" he is, but I was excited to see Patrick Callahan, the drummer for My Morning Jacket, standing to the side at Andrew Birds set.
Also makes sense, he was probably staying at the Ambassador or Holiday Inn right there.

I was by the VIP bleachers for Mars Volta and was looking for a couple of buddies that were in VIP, saw this chick and thought "hey, there's a chick that looks just like Drew Barrymore". Turns out it was her.
I'm fairly positve I saw Raab Himself of Jackass fame in line at the arch on Friday. If it wasn't him it was a long lost missing brother or something. Anybody else see that guy?
