White Stripes Radiohead Dead That would make my life. Although it would be unfair to the rest of the bands playing because I might have to wait in line for the pit as soon as possible for Friday and Saturday, but I coul deal

Friday: Daft Punk Sat.: The Who or Paul McCartney Sun: Widespread Panic
This would be incredible. Is Daft Punk big enough to headline the what stage? I feel like there is precedent but I can't think of it now (lolla maybe)? But I'd love to have a 60k person Daft Punk party

I'm going to try to go with what I think might happen, not what I want to happen (although I'd go to this Roo if it happened).
Friday: The Cure (rumored this year, possibly to see what the reaction would be) Saturday: Jimmy Buffett (I think this year's mini set was a trial balloon) Sunday: My Morning Jacket (they should be back by next year and they earned a headline slot with the 2008 set)
My "I wish" set:
Friday: Rush Saturday: U2 Sunday: My Morning Jacket
^No friggin way Buffet is even close to headlining on the Main Stage. I saw his set this year, lots of fun, but not a Saturday night headliner.
Definitely this. Radiohead --> Police --> Pearl Jam --> Bruce Springsteen are miles above Buffett in terms of popularity and size, not to mention influence
Please don't let it be Kings of Leon. I know Bonnaroo likes diversity, but there is no reason to open up the boy band genre.
Disclaimer: I know KoL has been to Roo numerous times in the past and that they used to be an incredible rockin' band, but they just aren't good anymore. The thought of them makes me nauseous these days.
I second the Santana, Rush and U2 suggestions above. Also I would love to see Stevie Wonder headline. He would melt 80,000 hearts with an amazing 3+ hour set. Not sure if he would sell enough tickets though.
Neil Young and Van Morrison are a couple more that might be able to do it. It is hard to think of bands that are big enough, can play a 3-hour set, and that I like enough to be worth it.
If we're looking for something hard for the Friday headliner, how about Iron Maiden?
