last year's weather was a little cooler.... anywho... no rain!
ps. there is always a chance of rain in the south in june.... afternoon showers are almost a daily occurrence.... not to worry, though. they usually only last 5 minutes.
This morning they are saying our biggest chance of rain is on Thurs. I do agree with Legend, that there is always a possibilty and usually a pretty strong one! But I guess we will be lucky this year to miss the big storms of the past and maybe just a light shower to kind of cool us off maybe. Everybody be safe!!
I'd be interested in seeing wind direction each day. If the winds from the N, the humidity will be lower. From the S and it will increase humidity and chance of thundershowers. Anyone got that info?

Thurs AM - NE 4 mph Thurs PM - ESE 2 mph
Fri AM - SSW 4 mph Fri PM - SSW 1 mph
Sat AM - WNW 5 mph Sat PM - W 1 mph
Sun AM - W 5 mph Sun PM - SW 1 mph
Or so sayeth weather.com...
And a word of caution - last night/this morning was downright cold here in knoxville... I went out to walk the dog this morning in shorts and had to go back in and change. I know it sounds crazy, but everyone remember to bring blankets, sweaters, etc.

Wow, that came out of nowhere. I was anticipating lots of rain. This is great news....although, I wouldn't mind the rain either. To me, it brings a sort of numbing eeriness to the surroundings when you're watching a concert in the rain. Some of the bets shows I've seen, it's been pouring out. The music and the rain really mesh well together.

I look forward to some rain....it definitely does the job of cooling everybody off, and concerts in the rain are actually a hell of a lot of fun, much better than 90 degree heat in my opinion. And yes, it was dusty as hell last year, a little rain to beat down the dust would be greatly appreciated!!
FYI - there will be one quick shower on Saturday afternoon, just enough to cool things off for a few and then make it muggy as heck.
Not trying to spread any bad karma, just knowing what happens this time of year (and living only 30 miles from Manchester)
A little rain is GOOD Karma. Last time I saw Ziggy (Marley, not the Monkey one) it rained during the show. Cooled everything down nicely. Had a blast. I like your prediction of a nice shower this time too. Will cool us off as we wait in the crowd for the POLICE!

Lennon/MCcartney If the rain comes they run and hide their heads. They might as well be dead. If the rain comes, if the rain comes. When the sun shines they slip into the shade (When the sun shines down.) And sip their lemonade. (When the sun shines down.) When the sun shines, when the sun shines. Rain, I don't mind. Shine, the weather's fine. I can show you that when it starts to rain, (When the Rain comes down.) Everything's the same. (When the Rain comes down.) I can show you, I can show you. Rain, I don't mind. Shine, the weather's fine. Can you hear me, that when it rains and shines, (When it Rains and shines.) It's just a state of mind? (When it rains and shines.) Can you hear me, can you hear me? If the rain comes they run and hide their heads.
