Pollstar seems to be adding a band every couple days. Today it's The Fort Knox Five. I hadn't really heard of them, but I'm checking them out now. Not too bad.
^^If memory serves correct the line up is dropped the first or second week in January,the Initial that is. Should start to come quicker this week or next.
I hope you're right about that. I can't wait. I love seeing lineups, even to festivals I know I can't go to. Since I'll be going to waka all I can say is in the words of Willy Wonka "The suspense is terrible. I hope it lasts."
I've heard a bunch of SCI rumors, too, but I can't remember where they came from. I know some folks talked to Travis at a few EOTO shows about coming back to Rothbury (which they apparently are not), and I think that might be where he mentioned Waka, but I really can't remember. How sweet would that be, though?

one band that is on there for sure, or it better be dammit, is ghost land observ. they canceled their show in kc in mid oct. and the venue said that they would be at waka, venue is big waka supporter and took with faith.
AND someone on the forum said that the lineup has dropped Jan 9 the last 2 years and that they have never sold regular tickets without the lineup out - tickets go on sale tomorrow. Sounds like a lineup date to me!
i guess i'll go to bed now... hopefully i wake up to a brand new shiny lineup! plus i'm buying my ticket as soon as i wake up as well. feels a lot like christmas eve.
Well it's friday morning... no lineup yet. I'm kind of disappointed. Maybe we will get one in a few hours. If it doesn't come tomorrow then I'm really going to go crazy.
I am really thinking that if I am underwhelmed by 'roos lineup this year Waka VIP is certainly going to be an option. Also I just joined their facebook, and saw this.
The initial lineup will be announced exclusively on Facebook on 1/14, so tell all your friends to become Waka fans to get the announcement in advance. You guys won't be disappointed!

Well next week will be a great one. First Wakarusa then on friday the smilefest lineup comes out. If Bonnaroo announced their lineup on saturday I think my head would explode from the anticipation.
The website says that it includes a beverage service, but I just assumed that meant discount drinks like other fest vips. That would be quite the vip incentive, though.
Christmas came early!
