Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'm legitimately having trouble waiting for Roo to come around. I'm listening to my favorite sets all the time now, I've had dreams about Roo probably at least once a week, and all I can think about is arepas and running around the farm like a fool for four days. I've only been to one.
So, vets, help me out here. How can I keep myself from going insane for the next 7.5 months. We're still closer to the last Roo than the next one!

I just go to a bunch of concerts and listen to a ton of music. Also if you have any songs you associate with the trip down to Roo listen to those, you'll be swatting away memories of the festival and the summer in general. Maybe type in Bonnaroo in a Flickr search too, that could bring you up.
Also I always get strong Roo flashbacks around cigarette smoke. Not advisable to hang out and second hand smoke all day.
Yeah, after my first Roo was when I started going to allot of shows... you really do get the itch, and that's the best momentary relief. This year's been kind of light, though (something like 4 solo concerts this year for me not including local shows, as opposed to 8 solo shows last year).
But, yeah, I'm getting used to the wait... Come December, shit'll start picking up, I can almost guarantee that.

my best advice is keep going to shows in the meantime, I'm gonna see Cage the Elephant, Steve Kimock, Blind Pilot, Moe, Grace Potter and Brett Dennen this month. Shows tide me over until the next festival. Get involved with organizations to get into shows for free if you can't afford to go to shows. I work with Headcount and am the teamleader in Atlanta so I get to see all the shows Headcount works in Atlanta for free. I also work with certain bands to get into there shows for free.
im ready for some news as well. its depressing when the boards are slow. do these people think that there are other things more important than roo or something? im going to cage the elephant and ghostland soon. i just saw robyn hitchcock.

look for small festivals in your area on jambase.com... smalll festivals always quench my bonnaroo thirst... plus there are some good bands on tour... Rodrigo y Gabriela, Back Door Slam, Ghostland Observatory... etc
i'm glad i have fun fun fun fest to tide me over slightly until june. but now that it's november, we only have seven months to go! that's totally doable.

I hang out with my Laday Charis and daughter Anais watch the Yankees win the world series, go to a ton of shows at the 930Club, party at Wonderland and Looking Glass often, eat around town, deep fry turkeys, brew beer, all the while scheming next years camp set up and speculate on possible lineups. Oh and heckling Red Sox fans in DC named Ben who has a man crush on Pedro. That should get you to Feb or March when they announce the lineup.
Why's it feel like it's right around the corner when it's really not? I'm already asking people if they want to go and they're like "who's on the bill?"
