I understand (and appreciate) that you were just trying to be friendly, but best intentions be damned, if you can't be bothered to read the thread that you're commenting on, you obviously don't know or care about what you're saying! thanks, man, but without thought, It's empty and offensive! In his defense, if you see a thread that says I'm having a baby, and you click on it, it takes you to the first message. You read it and think, Congrats, and click reply. You don't have any idea that you need to read the whole thing to find out something awful has happened.
I know your hurting, I understand that. You have been dealt a terrible betrayal. And I agree with you. Fire the scumbag daddy and leave her. I did not know the complete circumstances when I offered the "stay with her" option.
Like you do not know troo as I do. We live fairly close to each other and I have partied with him. He is a very caring and sensitive man. He did not intend to further you pain. Sometimes I hates the internet. Words on a computer screen can rarely convey your true heart felt meaning.

First: We fired his loser ass promptly. We had no kind of employment cantract with him so, siting his contribution in creating a hostile work environment, we were well within our legal rights to dismiss him.
Second: Sorry for being a dick, Troo. I've been going through alot lately, but I know I was out of line. I'm very sorry that I let "them" get me so bent out of shape that I would snap at a perfectly innocent person who was just trying to be nice.
And while you are at it, get rid of the "I'm a sucker" under your avatar. We have all been betrayed at one time or other. Just makes us human. And it sounds like you are NOT a sucker or a fool.
I came in here to offer my congratulations, having somehow missed this thread over the past three weeks, but, uhhh... wow, man. I'm truly, deeply sorry for you - not only for being betrayed by someone you trusted deeply, but also to have your hopes of being a father taken away from you
Now, a lot of this depends on the specific circumstances, but given what I know from this thread - I would echo Maniac's advice (I probably would have used different words, but sometimes bluntness is necessary). She's already completely breached the trust between you, so who's to say it won't happen again? Also, I know this probably isn't much consolation, but at least you found out now and not years later.

She told me. She waited four days longer than her best friend indicated was the plan. Even then, I had to ask why she was acting so strange in order to get her to say anything. She said that she wanted to come clean because she didn't want to have any secrets! WTF? While she did say it did contribute "somewhat", I'm pretty sure the only real reason is that she was scared that when an interrcial couple had a completely black child, I might get suspicious. She's quite dark skinned and scumfuck is very dark skinned. Oh yeah! did i mention that she thought that I was "such a good man" that I'd "see past the bullshit" and be a "good father"? WTF? You know what's particularly bad about this whole mess? My mom is a stereotypically racist southern woman who has preached, from day one, that Becca would cheat on me! What do I say to her now? Jesus! Now I'll never convince her that Becca's race had nothing to do with it! WTF?
