I'm really not sure. My guess would be about $100-$150...somewhere in there. Only a guess, though. Definitely not as much as roo, but still more than a regular show. They also haven't released information about the dates, which seems strange since we have artists and cities. I tried looking at some of the individual artists' schedules, but with no luck. I'm thinking that it will be a spring/early summer thing.
www.lilithfair.com/tour So after looking at this list of cities again, I'm wondering if they aren't in order. I know it says it's the first round, so more will be added, and I guess they could be added in between, to make the order of the list seem more logical. Right now it's all over the place (Georgia>Massachusetts>Alabama....Colorado>UK>California)

my wife and i will be going to atlanta show. also, the list of cities is alphabetical.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
There are some acts here that I'd avoid at all costs (like Mary, who I think is so terribly overated, I can't even get my head around her popularity), but there is some SOLID shit here... I'd consider it.
we are thinking about doing a non camping fest this year. as you all know roo is the best place on earth, but there are also some very draining aspects of it. the camping, the heat, the waiting 6 hours in traffic to get in this year, etc. so unless the lineup is so good that i can't say no, i won't be there.

mary can sing. she overdoes it a lot when she performs live, but i wouldn't be against seeing her.

[hi-jackthread]Well then I hope dredg is there![/highjackthread].
Back to topic, I think it'd be interesting to catch this but no money to afford it.
actually i think we are probably going now. it was my wife that said we are not going back. but she is more open about it now. i did want to try another fest, but it would end up being more expensive.

thinking about bringing my seven year old daughter to the show in Atlanta. She lurves Brandi Carlisle. what do you guys think good idea or not? My wife says no
I think it's a GREAT idea! 1. a day long city fest is a great way to ease her into it. and 2. Being in an environment full of strong women will be a great experience for her!
So have actual dates and venues been annouced for the cities yet? Cause I would be interested in ATL if I knew when and where...but the website seems to have a lot of hype but very little useful info to have been up since Oct....
So wait, the festival has all those acts? Each date? I'm confused. My girlfriend would love this festival and I'd buy tickets for the DC date if certain artists were playing here.
Needless to say I will try to attend the DC show. Wow. What a line up!
Hmm, any idea of the venue? Couldn't find any details. Merriweather, perhaps?
Gotta be Merriweather or Nissan. I'm pulling for MPP. After Radiohead a few years ago I will NEVER go back to Nissan. Ohhhhh wait. Maybe Wolf Trap? Nevermind. I'm pulling for the Wolf Trap.
A Thieve's Parade 2/24 Conspirator 2/26 Kevin Smith 3/11 Keller 3/17 Papadosio 3/18 JJ Grey 3/25 Bela Fleck/Edgar Meyer 3/26 Toubab Krewe 3/27 O'Death 4/11 Budos Band 4/22 EOTO 4/28 Summer Camp 5/6-29 All Good

No all performers will not be at all venues. Wait a bit longer and you'll start to find out who will be playing where. For example, Indigo girls are out or GA so they'll likely play Atlanta and some of the more southern legs.

Yeah let's get some dates. I may actually be able to go to the one in Dallas depending on how late in the summer it is. I'm working with some small windows of time here.
Katzenjammer is there, anybody attending: They are a must see.
I'll do my best to make it if not just for them.
excited about seeing katzenjammer again. it's funny i'm probably as excited as my wife for this. now all they have to do is add fiona apple, pj harvey or st. vincent.

Damn. I keep looking at that lineup and it keeps impressing me... I wonder when they're going to give us solid dates?
