I love playing Mafia with Kdogg. He makes the game so much more fun. IMO
Fun is not a synonym for annoying. I think you should re-check your thesaurus, Kel
As for not responding to HGH accusation I am really rushing to get things posted in between aforementioned stupid questions. I wanted to go ahead and get my vote in. Every time I start responding I get someone asking me something dumb. I am surprised the thread is so busy this afternoon.
I don't have anything to offer as an explanation other than by saying I'm not Mafia. I certainly can't afford to pay people not to vote for me since I'll soon have a new mouth to feed. Other than what you call my weird voting (which really isn't that weird for me)I haven't really done anything that points to me being Mafia. I am just being thrown in there as a third possible suspect with Kdogg and Wolf...and accused only by the three other people who are possible Mafia. I suppose you have accused me less than HGH and Hippie who are saying they are a inspector/deputy duo.
OMG! If someone asks me one more stupid question I am going to go crazy on them!! Sorry but this one is just too good...."Does this DVD have the title on the cover?" Me: "Yeah, it says 'Heidi' right there in big letters". WTFWTFWTF! BTW, that was the same person who asked what a computer does. Sorry to keep adding all this but I need immeditate venting before someone gets hurt.
how about this...if everyone votes for jen now, i will paypal everyone in the game(mafia and townspeople) $10 if i'm mafia.
Resorting to bribery? Are you smurfing serious?
Once this game is over, I think we need to discuss the exact wording for "The Hippie Rule." These games should be won, not bought.
As ref I am going to allow bribery, but the key is you have to give the ref the amount promised to other players, no matter if you have to pay up to the players or not.
now, let's say we're right up until this point, and wolf and kdogg ARE mafia. what would the mafia's best move have been overnight? knowing they are dangerously close to being completely outed, they'd have to find a way to place some heavy blame on an innocent. and what better innocent than a) the deputy, and b) the one person who's been calling out the mafia member since round one.
This is true, to a point. They could very well have killed off wolf to divert our attention. But the person that would look the most guilty would be the one claiming to be inspector (hgh) not deputy (you). I voted for you first instead of hgh because I knew it would piss you off, and then airline and higgi (not really though apparently) followed my vote.
But you're right that this could be a mafia trick to make you and hgh look guilty.
that is exactly what it is...a mafia trick
first of all, HGH never voted for wolf. she vote for kdogg. it was ME who was campaigning so hard for wolf to be voted off. because i never received kdogg's name, i wanted wolf to go because i knew for a FACT(which is what it is since i know it for sure) that wolf was guilty, and was only working off the correlation in HGH's assertions that she was inspector. so yes, it would make ME look more guilty than she did as far as wolf's death this past night. and it seems like the mafia made a good decision because you all immediately believed them.
second, i've played this game MUCH to long to be SO dense as to kill off WOLF of all people overnight. regardless of whether HGH or I look more guilty, we both STILL look guilty. so if we were working together, why in the WORLD would we kill the ONE person who would draw the most attention to us?? that's right...we wouldn't. but wolf and jen would choose to kill off wolf because it's their last hope considering both the inspector and myself are still alive and had already brought the first two names to the table. it's called desperation, and you are all playing right into it.

omg fine no one gets any money the only reason i said it was because i knew i was in no danger of losing $110...because i'm NOT mafia. but if it keeps kdogg happy, no bribing. however, now it's on his shoulders to figure out boudaries of "bribes". can we no longer say we'll burn stuff? that we'll buy someone a beer at roo? that we'll share some corn together? i mean, where does it stop?
They can easily send someone else into a runoff with wolf at this point. Instead, all three of them voted only for each other, assuring them that one would die.
Oh yeah, almost forgot. After they did this -- that night -- they killed one of their other fellow mafia, essentially knocking two of their own off in the same day.

I;m gonna have to disagree with this reasoning. It doesn't matter if she voted for Wolf or Kdogg -- she came out as inspector and named both of them as mafia.
So no, she would still look more (or, at best, equally as) guilty as you.
I don't see much happening to change the outcome of the vote so...
Jen was hanging out in Centeroo Sunday morning. She had already spent the last couple days dealing the rants and rambles of kdogg. Then people kept asking her stupid questions. "Was that song a cover?" "What are those boxes with colorful screens in that barn for?". So when someone asked her where one could purchase corndogs while standing directly in front of a corndog stand she politely bought him a corndog with her dwindling cash supply and shoved it down his throat. A mounted security guard saw this and gave chase. Too bad for Jen that she was so busy running away from the horse that she didn't see the tour bus of some aging bluegrass star.
Game is Over Bonnaroo has been freed from the mafia.
HGH was Inspector Hippie was Deputy
Jen Wolf Kdogg =mafia
HGH was given kdogg's name and guess Wolf night one and Jen night 2

I'm in for the next game, but I'm keeping my whacked out theories to myself this time. So far only one strategy has worked for me, and it's the easiest way to play, so I'm sticking to that and keeping quiet with the other two strategies I've tried (both of which suuucked).

I have been cracking up since I posted Wolf's death that you once again were fervently defending the mafia.
P.S. Kel I don't think anyone else has volunteered to Ref. P.S.S. I'm in ;D
I was gonna ask to Ref if there was no one else in line but since Kel beat me to it put me in line next. I may sit this next round out as a player unless ya'll get totally stuck with no one.

Yeah, too much counter-theory for my own good. I was onto kdogg before anyone even said anything about him, and then I tricked myself into believing I had gotten it wrong. Like I said, I'm sticking with the easiest way to play, because I've uncovered 5 mafia members that way (including the first game I followed but didn't play). I've uncovered 0 using other methods. So no more crazy page-long posts from me.

No you guys did great jobs way to take that personally hippie. It's just that Higgi was the swingman that time. It's not like my death was trying to convince you, HGH, or Kel. That was a lost cause.
Having to go to work all day not being able to see the outcome until now was suspenseful. I drew up a cheat sheet of worthless notes that's now irrelevant.
Two things about the bribery comment. 1. Offering something to another player in exchange for a vote is different than offering to destroy something of your own. There's a transaction involved. 2. Hippie usually threatens to destroy her own personal Bonnaroo ticket worth around $250. This time around, she only offered up $100 - split $10 apiece. Divvy up a tenth of a Bonnaroo ticket's value, and it's more like $25 apiece. I hope I wasn't the only one insulted by that offer.
I could be tempted to play again... can we leave the Deputy out of it this time around?
And I thought I did a damn good job as Inspector, depsite that I am apparently too stupid to do the job. ;]
I had to discredit you and make no bones about it, since you'd have done the same if roles were reversed
Seriously, though... I was Referee for Mafia 25 when you were Inspector, and in that thread's postgame I proposed a role meant to bolster the Inspector. I'm going to sound like a bastid saying it, but it's the truth: it wasn't coincidence.
