Im not an identity politics guy in either direction, but I couldnt help but giggle a little when a white lady asked a black guy if he believed that black lives matter.
Yeah I'm not really sure what to make of what he said.
I do think that everyone kneeling and other pre-approved slogans (how did I not guess Hayward would pick the most anodyne phrase of the choices offered, "education reform") are sorta dangerous because for the most part they're just corralling conversation and neutralizing what was a provocative act of protest. On the one hand, the visibility is good, but on the other, it doesn't seem like a whole lot is actually getting accomplished by wearing the t-shirts, etc. That's not what Isaac's point was though afaict.

This. Isaac just had no balls to say, "I think BLM is misguided" or whatever he really thinks.
Serious props when due here, though. Good for CP3 and good for Jones. Idk if they will ultimately help bring Breonna Taylor's killers to justice, but they are trying and Jones was very explicit about the issue in a way that is encouraging after the skepticism of the jersey slogans, etc. that I expressed earlier.
So the Wizards (9th) lost to the Nets (8th), making it a seven-game lead that Brooklyn has over Washington. Washington now has six games to make up the three or more to force a play-in scenario. That's very unlikely to happen. Eastern field is basically set. We're not likely to get an Eastern play-in scenario. It's just seeding now.
Celtics doing what they can to the Blazers rn to ensure that that will be the case in the West also. Although.. if the Spurs beat the Grizzlies.. the Spurs and Blazers will be hanging in there.
So Spurs in good shape now. They did probably play two of their three easiest games on their schedule to start (besides their game upcoming against the New Orleans Frauds, that is).
Nah, man. It's his third year in the league. I understand it but he could pull through and be a great player for yall. The first injury didn't have any ligament damage. He's getting an MRI right now they said in the halftime show.
He should read a little while he's out though. Lol.
