So in my infinate stupidity I never ordered MPP tickets.
Anyone know if there is a box office there?
I'm still coming. I'll get a lawn in the lot if need be.
Show Days: West Box Office is open from 10am until approximately an hour before the end of the show. South Box Office (next to the main gate into the venue) is open 2 hours before the Gates open until approximately an hour before the end of the show.

I had a dream last night they were playing a show in Toronto and I forgot to get tickets. Them not releasing more dates is now fuc.king with my dreams.
Everybody who is seeing them have a great time, I'll just have to wait my turn I guess.

Just in case anyone out there gets lost tomorrow, I got this from the Merriweather website
FROM SPACE Use shuttlecraft or jetpack to reach eastern-middle North America. See that jutting land-thingy? That’s the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We’re slightly west of that past the Chesapeake Bay. If you survive the extremely high temperatures of reentry and manage to reach land, use the above directions for ground transport. Good luck, brave space people!
We leave shortly for lunch in Fells Point, then off to the lot for some good ol' fashion tailgaitin'. I'm really hoping for Phone Went West tonight. If they play it, I will know for sure that it IS my song.
Heading to the Columbus show tonight super excited although the sky's look terrible outside right now hopefully the weather is nice for the show tonight but I have a feeling that its going to be a wet one. Makes sense, seems everytime I see MMJ it has to rain.

Just pretend it's Bonnaroo 04' and take a trash bag.
Your in for a hell of a show. I did entertain the thought of just saying screw it and driving to Columbus from DC. I still wish I had.

Oh man, I'm very, very jealous of all of you who went. Looks like it was a hell of a time! Almost any other weekend, I'd have said 'quack it' and taken the seven-hour drive to join you all at MPP, but finals start on Wednesday, so that wasn't really an option.
I'm getting anxious with these tour dates. I know some people who are more 'in the know' than myself have said that something will be announced for the northeast, but I still worry that I won't get my MMJ fix this year, unless it's when they open for Tom Petty. I'm staying hopeful though...

I'm going tonight and I'm really excited. I have a question for those who've already seen them this tour, when does the jazz band start and when does MMJ usually start? All it says is "doors at 6."
Shows at 7. Preservation Hall plays about 45 minutes, the last two nights I saw them, but don't miss. Not only are they just great, Jim comes out for a song or 3.

Thanks for the info Garage. I'm actually glad it's raining tonight. Maybe they'll be reminded of roo 08 and decide to play four hours in the rain. Hey I can dream.
Nice pics Bunny. Do you remember running into me at the ATM?
Man, the pit was rockin'. That was some sort of awesome. Lay Low blew my freakin mind. I haven't been that close since my first MMJ show at a small club in 05. Jim had such crazy energy and seemed to be enjoying the crowd as much as we were enjoying him. POWER SLIDE FTW!!!! The man is truly becoming a rock god. I need more MMJ in my life.
Evidently Tom's wife tweeted the crowd was duchey, or something to that effect.
I know I missed a fight, but I wonder what else.
Dude, yeah, there were ALOT of douches in the pit. A bunch of young drunken ratards around us. It was mainly just one group. The first guy tried to grind on my gf and she put her hand in his face and he wanted to start some sh!t. The next guy (one of his friends) was staring directly at my gf's boobs in an incredibly creepy sort of way, then the lights went out and he started moving in like he was pulled in by a trackter beam. I was actually cocked back ready to deck him if he got any closer, but his friend pulled him away. Then his friend required that we pass him our herb when we lit it up cause he held his friend back from groping my gf. Yeah, that was kinda a downer for a bit. But then there was this.....
