I thought about freezing a watermelon, but then I though, how the quack will we cut it? so I might just freeze some other fruit and bring it with, like strawberries, pineapple, grapes... OR I might soak the fruit in vodka or Everclear overnight and forget about freezing it all together.

then it's settled, i'll be bringing a cooler full of fruit soaked in... yeah, I think i'm going to do the Everclear, can't for the life of me drink it by itself (it's 95% alcohol;190 proof), or really even mixed with anything, but I can eat it in some fruit. It's so good too.

I'd love to come!! Hopefully I can wake up in time to be there...I could make some baked treats my friend and I were also planning on making vodka soaked Gummy Bears I can always make more than one batch to bring to the brunch.

I'm starting to worry that I'm gonna wake up Saturday morning with no memory of anything after Friday morning Brunch. Sorta like Saturday morning '09. But that wasn't because of Brunch, I missed it that year, just started drinking too hard too early Friday. I think I'm gonna try to do most my severly heavy drinking after dark this year. ;D

yea, I definitely want to get my buzz on for the day... but I don't wanna over do it. It sucks to be all drunk AND hot. blech! that would definitely make me sick, and sick at Bonnaroo isn't something that is on my to do list.
OK, after a marathon phone call with HGH last night, looks like I am off the fence bout Roo....I WILL be coming with HGH and her crew this year! So put me down for the obligatory salsa and chips and some mimosas...and let me know if you need anything else Bun Hon!

As long as no one over does it I think they'll be fine. like a piece or two should suffice.

And I can bring ALL the astronaut ice cream anyone wants....just let me get a head count pre-roo. I live in one of the few places that happens to be pretty plentiful! LOL! One of the advantages (?) of living in Rocket City.....
And I expect SOMEONE to bring Glacier Bays this year again *cough Maniac *cough* or some other designee....those were AWESOME! ;D

ladyrach i have never heard of drunk gummy bears before, but after i looked them up i will be bringing them to every derby party i attend from now on. i think you will have made me famous.
i still havent decided what to bring yet. i made cake balls for a birthday party this weekend and they were a big hit (red velvet + cream cheese frosting dipped in dark chocolate) but i dont know if i can keep them in good condition until the brunch. maybe in the cooler packed tight? i dont want the chocolate to melt and i dont want then to get jostled. if i can figure them out i will def bring those. they are sort of delicate but still probably less difficult to transport than the bacones i posted earlier.
i have a beach party to attend in a few weeks so maybe i will try transporting them there and see how it goes. it won't be as long but i can at least see how they will end up moving around in the cooler. we leave late wed night so they would only have to survive 1.5 days in the cooler before the brunch.
