now bonnaroo offers onsite tent rentals! wow i'm glad they have my back on that.. i didn't really feel like bringing a tent this year. wow and its only $1,000. i'm down.
Wow that is ridiculous, $750 for the site, water proof tent, cots, bedding, chairs and table and $300 refundable deposit. Thats more than the ticket!! Close to Centeroo but if you spring $50 for a small tent and get there early, it won't matter!
Hmm. I didn't get this email. It looks like a really big tent. I guess if you had a bunch of people you could make it work financially. It seems like a better deal than a VIP pass. I don't know that I'd ever go this route but I guess it's an option, especially for someone that's flying in.

If I had the money or went in a group I'd do this. It looks big and comfy and easy (especially if they're already set up for you). It is a bit expensive but if you don't have any supplies it'd be good. The downside is you don't get to take it with you when you leave.
I'm sure people will do this. Maybe not enough to warrant it being offered next year.....but the only way the Roo people will know if it's a good idea is by trying it and seeing how well it does. I think it's silly to complain about this. It's just an extra option that Roo offers and if you don't want it.....don't get it lol.
I was excited when I first heard they would be offering tents. I am not the most skilled outdoors man so the idea of already having a tent set up was appealing to me, but $1000? Seriously? I was shocked when I saw the price. Needless to say I will be practice setting up a tent so that I will be ready come 'Roo time.

THIS JUST IN!:
"We at Bonnaroo always strive to give you the best festival experience we can provide. In continuing this mission, we are pleased to announce that this year we will be offering on-site staff (for an exorbitant and unreasonable fee) who will set your campsite, apply your sunscreen, wipe your a$$, and generally hold your hand throughout the entire festival."

Someone will surely help you set up a tent at Roo if you bring one.

This is just another example of how 'roo has become a rip-off. I always went VIP (couldn't go last year due to work). With VIP no longer including meals, it just ain't worth it. $200 for six meals is definately a rip off too. For the same money as VIP, I'm going to Jazz Fest and staying in a downtown hotel. Jazz fest line up is great this year. Y'all have fun this year. If 'roo gets ever reasonable on their VIP prices again I'll be back, if not, it's been a gas. www.nojazzfest.com/
