I grew up worshipping Rock and Roll like a religion. I know its shortcomings and strengths but have loved it unconditionally all the same since I was eight-years old. I ran away and joined the circus and honestly, I'm still as obsessed as I was as a boy. I'm not a kid anymore but I still remember how it felt and it doesn't really feel all that different to me now.

Just heard they're playing my backyard 6/28. I'm not going, but thought you guys would be interested.
You got camping?
EDIT: Anyone else thinking about nTelos Pavilion in Portsmouth? I put my request in and didn't even think about it. Pretty sweet venue actually. www.pavilionconcerts.com/

^Did you go back to your car? We just rushed the Pavilion, and got under it for awhile. Same here I am sure I will be able to get tickets though, I do not think they will be as hard this year as long as you get them on the first day.
No I had pavillion seats. It was a little crowded to say the least during the second set.

Well with the announcment im officially not going to Bonnaroo this year, going to hit Cuyahoga Falls and Hershey instead. Also hoping to do ATL if I can score tickets and the Deer Creek>Alpine run. Should be a fun summer. (:
Put my request in for two nights at Deer Creek! This summer is shaping up to be totally badass. Springfest > Hangout > Bonnaroo > All Good > Phish > Wuhnurth (maybe) > Summercamp (maybe). Wish I could pull off Waka to Roo but I just can't afford the price/time to do it.

Damnit damnit damnit, I hate Jones Beach! Does anyone know if they're still banned from PNC in Jersey? That place is the titties and is such a better spot to see a show than Nikon at JB.
6/18: Phish in Hartford 6/25: Phish in Camden 7/2-7/4: Nateva 7/17: God Street Wine at Irving Plaza 7/23-7/25: String Cheese at Red Rocks!! 8/17-8/18: Phish at Jones Beach 9/3: Rush at PNC
This Bonnaroo lineup is in dire need of some Rush.

And Radio City? Come on, did people honestly believe that? There's no reason for Phish, at this point, to play Radio City Music Hall. It's summer, baby. Let's save the indoor shows for fall/winter. Besides, MSG is the boys' home in the city.

I just went in for second nights of both Hartford and Camden, plus both nights at Jones Beach. Last year I actually got a pair of tix for the first night at JB. First time I'd ever "won" anything I'd ever entered online.

i put in for three tix, both atl nights.....i really hope i get pavillion tickets...at least one night!!! please...cuz if not, im still gonna try for better seats when they go on sale to the public......then i'll have extra lawn seats, if anyone would be interested (hypothetically speaking mind you)...hopefull i'll just get realllllllllllly lucky in the lottery and get some badass front and center seats (it could happen)...or just somewhere in between.....please.

I agree Jones beach sucks. How do you not serve alcohol except for in VIP. Give me an Effin' break.

Say what? A concert venue that doesn't serve alcohol to the masses? Really? How do they make money and stay afloat?

Good question, but it's been like that since sometime in the 90's and when you walk into the concourse at the Jones Beach Amphitheatre you'll never have seen so many signs for $7 Red Bulls, Coffees, and Cappacchinos at a concert before in your life, not to mention all the mass amounts of Dippin' Dots and Funnel Cake
Also, hardly anyone sees the opening bands because they are too busy slamming beverages out of red plastic cups in the parking lot up until the very last second

Yeah, I will admit, it's a pretty fun lot scene. At least it was for the Phish shows last summer.

Phish lot scenes are usually always better than the average show. I usually don't catch openers unless I really want to see them so I can avoid the $8 beers at Deer Creek. At the same time, I've drank way too much before the show and not remembered any of the show.
Somehow, every year, I see a random wook selling beer inside though. I'm guessing they just throw it over the outer wall.
