Found a ride down there but couldn't find a ticket anywhere. In retrospect, I guess I'm glad because I heard of a ton of fake tickets and it seemed like anything people found was for $100. Anyway, listened to the show from the hill outside the venue with lots of awesome people and had a blast. We could hear really well and everyone was having a good time.
The first set was INSANE. The second was much less so, but everything sounded really tight and they are definitely on top of it right now. I wish I could get back out there tonight to ride the hill with everybody again, but I suppose I should go to work.

Great Show last night, Bathtub Gin kicked some serious ass and the first set was 90 min, we thought it was going to end multiple times but they kept on going.
I was a little underwhelmed tonight but still had a good time.
Fun 2 days!!
Really? I thought it was one of the best Phish shows I have ever seen. Julius> Mike's Song> Tela, Harpua> Killing in the Name> Harpua> Weekapaug Groove, was just unreal and amazing to me.
just got back today. went to july 2nd and 4th. still can't decide which i liked more. they were both so epic and intense full of songs i really didn't expect them to bust out. way better than the bonnaroo shows which were the only other phish shows i've seen.

I completely agree with Jess. Sunday night was one of the best Phish shows I've seen. Saturday was fun, but they tore it up on Sunday.

I may have had more fun on the 4th than I ever have at a Phish show. Both sets were full of surprises from the band, and the crowd was pumped up. That show made me want to go back on tour.

Mike's Tela Harpua Rage Groove. The place went insane during Killing in the Name. An all-time great Phish moment.
"this happens to be one of the only other bands, other than Phish, that won't bullshit you"

This was a great weekend, Phish in my hometown on the Phourth of July. And they killed it. And I had pit on the 4th. Damn. These were the only Phish shows I have seen other than roo last year and they were undoubtedly much better here than at roo. They need to come back to roo next year for the 10th year anniversary. Rage needs to headline too.
I was a little underwhelmed tonight but still had a good time.

I think I would have Leno my pants just to hear Julius live, let alone that string of genius.

Talking about Rage right? Because if so that 's kind of funny.
Yes, this was just after he told us that both the history books and the alternative history books were full of lies about our country, and that Phish had been telling the true history of the nation all along interlaced in the lyrics of all of their songs.
I was a little underwhelmed tonight but still had a good time.

I must admit, I clearly wasn't there but just watching the youtube vids of Harpua > Killing in the Name Of gave me chills down my spine. If someone didn't think that was just flat out awesome, well... then they need awesome lessons
The 4th was the best show I've seen in a looooonnnng time. The boys are playing so well together. They sounded so good. And that second set seriously rocked.

I didn't see the July 4th show, but the Charlotte show was absolutely Phinomenal!!! I only got into Phish because of my brother and like you, the first show I ever saw were at bonnaroo. But seriously, a 22 minute YEM, followed by A Day in the Life.....Vultures,The Lizards,Carini> FYF....Stash, Chalkdust Torture, Sparkle!! These guys just blow my mind with their talent. The leno that they played, well I just praise God for Phish!!
