Have you tried Emergen-C? I cannot drink it first thing in the AM, b/c all the fizziness makes me nauseous, but after a meal it works great with no crash involved.

Whatever you bring, make sure you try it beforehand....I find Emergen-C to be disgusting.
Also...if you're intending to bring something to add to the unfiltered water there to make it taste better...well, just be warned that that's not foolproof either. Some people can drink that stuff with no problem. Some people don't like it by itself but find it to be okay with some sort of drink mix in it. Me, personally...I never expected to have any trouble with it, I'm not typically the kind of person to be deterred by a bit of bad taste or whatever but I just couldn't stomach it. Even when I added some kind of drink mix to it, it didn't really help. So I just stuck with the filtered water!
Hey Pepp...you should check out these www.waterbobble.com/ I got a couple specifically to deal with the crappy smell/taste of the Farm water - and of course to save on trash. They've got good carbon filters that really work.

I do a case of 5 hour energy's and a case of Vitamin waters, take them together and you will feel like a new man with no crash. Those 5 hour energy's last almost exactly 5 hours so plan well.

I bought a box of Healthy To Go!™ Acai Natural Energy Boost™ from Costco last year... they rock. I gave one to a buddy that felt washed up after a long night at Bonnaroo; he added it to his water and drank it all. Later he told me the drink was just what he needed. The mix has some little red dots in it that can be kind of weird, but I think it's the acai...
To find the product go to Costco.com and search for 'Acai'.
^^^So if I time it right I can do the 5 hour energy and still get some sleep? Sweet!
Absolutely. I can also testify to the goodness of the 5 Hour Energy. They will get you going without giving you the jitters, or making you edgy and when the 5 hours is up there's no brutal crash like there is with say Red Bull or something. I love them.

Thinking I might need to get some of those 5-hour energy shots for the killer overnight drive to Hangout tomorrow. Anyone know if you can get them cheaper than gas stations sell them for on short notice, like Wal-mart or something?

Hmm... This sounds like a solid plan. I'm gonna hold you to it, cause this is what I will most likely be doing this year! My body requires lots of rest & doesn't hold up too great in the heat, so I'm gonna need all I can get to help me out - and I definitely don't want to crash! Man.. why don't we have a Costco around here? I wonder if Sam's Club has those 5-hour energy shots in bulk..
Also, maybe try those Crystal Light powder packets to add to water. They make a line of "Energy" ones too, and the wild strawberry flavor is pretty strong so it would probably cover up the taste the Roo water.
It may just be me, but they don't actually give me energy. They do, however, keep me from feeling sleepy. It's kind like they prevent me from crashing more than giving me a lift, if that makes sense. I do a 12 hour drive to North Carolina about once a month and try and take one with four or five hours left in the trip -- it seems to do the trick.
I've yet to find anything that actually gives me energy, though.
As far as those of you who are here looking for an alcoholic drink mix, I recommend hand grenade mix. Just mix with grain alcohol and you're good to go. It's very sweet so it's good for the hot Bonnaroo weather.
On the down side, it will kick your @ss and you won't see it coming. I'd recommend making one before leaving your campsite and then leaving so you can't have a second!!!!

I think that's the intention. To keep you awake moreso than super energized cause it seems those kinda drinks leave you crashing in the end. 5 Hour Energy is good, cause even if you take it late and want to sleep, its not as hard as being hyped up on something else. i've heard people say they can use it and still go to sleep with it in their system still (before the 5 hours is up).

This thread is now about mixed drinks. I bought a Bloody Mary from some dudes sitting along the path last year, my friend Andrea traded a hug for an extra shot or so in the drinks, and they were so awesome. Thinking I might have to bring Bloody Mary supplies this year. Does anyone know if there is a reliably decent mix or should I make my own?

ZING-ZANG baby, if you can find it! I've been a bartender for years, this stuff is the best out of a bottle mix you can buy IMHO. They don't sell it everywhere, but you should take a look at your local grocery, or liquor store and see - it's def. worth it.

If you are going to bring those powder mixes, no matter what kind you choose, bring several flavors. You will get sick of just one. Ugh. I still can't drink things that are pink.

Wow! I didn't know you could buy the mix online, sweet! But yea, definitely be careful with these! I went to bourbon street last summer and our whole group drink nothing but these. They're awesome, you can't taste the liquor and in the summer humidity you will down them 'cause they're so tasty but they will kick your @$$ in no time! I HIGHLY agree, make one and walk away, maybe two, but don't drink these like you're a kid with some capri suns.
