I feel the beer prices at the Broo'ers tent are fair bein' that I am at a festival/music concert. If I'm buyin' beer at one of the vendors they better have some damn Starr Hill's Love again this year (wasn't common at the vendors, but not too hard to find). If I have to resort to Sweetwater 420 I'll be a bit disappointed. But yeah, you'll be payin' around $2-3 fer a sample of beer at the Broo'ers Festival, or $4-9 (maybe $8) fer a full cup. They are great beers though. I try to find somethin' new or outside my comfort zone of beer every year. I think I've done quite well.
^^Agreed. I have this bar near me called Old Chicago and they have over 110 different beers. LOVE IT> I love trying different beers from all over the world even if I may not like it at least I can say I had it before
I work for a very small brewery in Chicago (http://www.halfacrebeer.com/home.php), and we only distribute in the city and some suburbs. I wish we were big enough to be in the broo'er tent. Does anyone know how much it costs the breweries to be there? I also wonder how much roo makes from the beer sales...

plan on bringing a few 4 packs of daisy down with me.
put double daisy in cans so i can get it into roo and i'll love you.
I'll second dogfish head- Haven't had the pleasure of sampling the others you listed.
As for myself: Smuttynose, Brooklyn Brewery, Fat Tire (I picked up a six pack of this on a whim at an Eckerd's in Chattanooga Wednesday night and my god is it delicious. I haven't had it since, but would love to enjoy it at roo).
Try New Belgium's Mighty Arrow. It's the current seasonal brew and is one of my all time favorites! Shame I can only get it part of the year!

My friends are basically responsible for running a brewery up here in MA (The Tap/Haverhill Brewery) and i was thinking how cool it would be if they were there but it would never happen for a variety of reasons. Then i was thinking how i could just bring some of their beer down and distribute it for free in the campgrounds, but they dont have a canning line so its all in glass which doesnt fly. Now im thinking about trying to get a keg... is that allowed? i feel like i should know this but i dont
looks like theres no rules against kegs but i dont know how worth it is to try to drive one from here to TN anyways, damn

Or how to keep it cold... I think I read on here once upon a time that some one tried to bring a keg and it got confiscated. But I might be wrong...
I too believe I heard that you weren't allowed to bring kegs, but I could be imaginin' that. You could always try emailin' Bonnaroo about it. If you can bring one, I know who's camp I'm stoppin' by!

So basically you pay a fee then they buy the beer from you for pretty much that fee, then they give you 4 tickets and you have send people down to talk to the beer patrons.
No kegs CFA, I wish there was though I would have a half barrel at camp inforoo in a second.

Honestly that doesn't seem all that bad... At most major venues in Ontario its $10 a cup for Canadian or Coors Light... Hell I've gone to places where its $5 for a can of CL.
Is this the place to find people without inhibitions and are more willing to get naked and have free love moments, like the ones that have made music festivals what they are, which is GREAT!

Here is some news as to what breweries should be at the festival.
The big Bonnaroo music festival is coming right up, June 9-12, in Manchester, Tenn. Two of Asheville's breweries will be serving their ales.
Highland Brewing has just secured a slot at Bonnaroo through a Tennessee distributor. Asheville Pizza and Brewing has been part of the festival for several years.
I wrote New Belgium (they make Fat Tire in case anyone is unfamiliar) and they said they were not going to be there
This kinda surprises me... While living in Manchester I was the I.T. guy for the AB distributor that supplies Bonnaroo. They distribute New Belgium's product; it would seem to me New Belgium has an easy road to get to Roo... though, maybe it doesn't fit into their business plan or schedule. /shrug
