BTW I've slowly been growing more and more excited for AF over the last few months but that Coachella stream put it over the top. Balloons or not, MMJ > AF could be the best night of concerts I've ever seen.

I like the balloons, but I'd also like to see them do something new and singular at 'roo. Having written that, even if they don't have some sort of spectacle like at Coachella, I think the 'roo show will be amazing. I echo the MMJ into AF talk. It's near perfect for me.

They didn't start capping ticket sales until after 2004, when they had about 90,000 show up. 06 and 07 were sell outs (80,000). Last year was the closest since with >75,000 attendees. But I don't think it has ever sold out in advance.

Don't know if this has been mentioned already or not, but apparently, the whole light-up balloons thing was the work of some art installation company called The Creators Project, which employs Spiritualized's J. Spaceman. They should definitely be hired to do some crazy shit for Bonnaroo. Might even make Eminem's set interesting.

No, I just watched it on TV. The bottom of the 7th lasted about 1 minute too so it was a real short interview with Will.
I got a ticket on Craiglist for under face for tonight so I'm going again. They apparently played My Body Is A Cage last night so I'm wondering if they'll play a different Neon Bible one tonight in addition to the usual KtCR Intervention and No Cars Go.
Cool! Did you get a GA ticket or a seat? I stood next to a dude (on the floor) who had a seat ticket. He said they weren't checking wristbands to get down on the floor. Just sayin'

I had a floor ticket, but last night when I showed the woman my wristband she wasn't even really paying attention at all so I can see how people could "sneak" down.
They played Suburban War last night, probably my favorite on The Suburbs. Top 2 or 3 at least. Plus The National played Start A War, which is the first time I saw them play it. Win came out halfway through to sing which was pretty cool.
If anyone missed the Coachella show or just wants to see it again, I found a channel that uploaded the whole show broken into like 8 parts. It's not High-def but it's still pretty amazing!
Rolling Stone is streaming their Jazz Fest performance sometime on Saturday...!
I'm really excited to check out a lot of bands for the first time this year but I already know what the best show is going to be. I'm hoping for Month of May -> Rebellion. It's so intense/awesome live.
I was on the fence about Arcade Fire but after watching the Coachella show I'm in the pit for sure, so much energy can't fucking wait, some bands just have to be heard live to appreciate.
