I am bringing a black lock-box with me to Bonnaroo. However I have lost the key and will not be able to open the box for anyone. Does anyone know if security would be fine with that? I wouldn't want to be a nuisance.
If you are not catching my drift, please disregard.

honestly... if I was checking your car out, and saw the lockbox and you said you had it, but didn't have the key with, I'd seriously question why you brought the thing all the way out to Bonnaroo for no reason (just going on the things you'd actually state). This would likely prompt me to want to search everything more thoroughly, and maybe try to get into that box. That's just super weird of a story... who hauls a lockbox to bonnaroo with no key? That's absurd.

I would not do the whole lock box thing. If you have something to bring, bring it. If you don't want it found, hide it. If it is found, deal with it. Respect.
I would have appreciated some respect. I was asking a serious question whether you think it was stupid of me to ask or not.
dude your little hint hint wink wink don't have the key BS is what is stupid. You have they key. Your trying to get some reasurance that if you told a cop or security that they'd say no problem. You could have anything in that box, gun, illegal substances, a large dildo... Posture all you want but you get no respect because by starting this thread you are showing no respect. Peace

I usually bring my gun safe and tell them I do not know how to open it anymore but there is no ammo in it anyway, it has never been a problem.
