I would love to do all five, but I just can't. Right now, however, it's looking like I'll be in for 10/22 and 10/23 for sure, and possibly 10/21 as well.
This would be absolutely amazing but as soon as I saw the announcement I knew I couldn't pull it off with other trips already planned. I did make it out there for the NYE show 2 years ago at MSG and I'll be catching them 8/17. To anyone going: I'm jealous and enjoy!
You all think any of this will sell out before october?
Z is already sold out.
They had two presales - one for people who wanted to buy 5-day tickets (and probably a bunch of scalpers as well) and then an American Express presale.
the Z show sold out almost instantly when they went on sale.

I just checked all 5.
The only two left at the moment are At Dawn and Tennessee Fire
No money for this for me right now, damn trying to be responsible
But hopefully I can work this out somehow on craigslist or something come October. I really wish this was at Roseland because I am friends with the manager. Aw well, hopefully I will see y'all for at least one of these nights
if any of you guys are getting a hotel or whatever nearby, let me know - it would be good to go with some peeps. i'll be solo.
I live in long island but was also thinking of a way to stay in the city or something like that. don't want to worry about catching a train, paying 20 bucks a night for round trips, and driving home at the end of the night.
There's some good suggestions on the MMJ message board....some people recommend vacation apartment rentals. not sure what i'm doing yet. i'll be going solo (most likely) as well.

45th and 10th All beers are $5 all the time and the high octaine beers come in 8oz glasses. It is a pretty cool place and doesn't put ppl too far out of the way from the venue. There aren't many cool places near by Terminal 5, so this is a good option.
Sorry, sometimes I type gibberish when I am sleepy. I edited what I said before to make more sense. I don't think I am going to any of the shows earlier in the week. Would love to though.

1/2/3/BurgerShotBeer on 10th Ave at 50th St is another good option
The beers are only $3, though they do come in 10oz. mugs so it's not as great of a deal as it sounds, Goose Island IPA, 123 Amber, Dos Equis XX, Brooklyn Winter Ale, Newcastle Ale, Sam Adams Lager, Magners Cider, Shock Top, Belgian White, Stella, Bud Light, Budweiser, Bass
The clientele is a little strange there, don't know exactly how to describe, but a good number of ties get removed and no one has probably ever heard of MMJ there. It's not that appealing on the weekend when it's crowded, but at 6PM on a Tuesday it's fine. And there is a small patio if you smoke.
I mostly bring this place up because the $1.00 Sliders and $3.00 Waffle Fries are FANTASTIC, and whenever I think of Terminal 5, I immediately start drooling for the 1/2/3. Plus the waitresses there, um, most guys tend to like their outfits a lot

Not quite, but that's really funny, it's mostly just a loud corporate crowd at night, the place tries to be all sheik cool trendy hip, with DJ's and metallic surfaces and mirrors and such, while at the same time pushing the cheap $1-$3 oxymoron right in it's name... like you said, not a lot of cool in that area, but I could slam at least a dozen of those cheeseburgers.
For an INTENSE beer selection, there is also Valhalla 815 9th Ave (between 53rd St & 54th St)
Not that cheap, the beers average about $6-$9 depending, and go as high as over $20 for some really crazy stuff, but the beer menu is beyond extensive for any major connoisseurs out there. I like this place a lot.

Ahh, nuts. I hate being indecisive.
Well, now I'm going to have to pay an inflated price on eBay/StubHub/Craigslist, or not go at all... and we all know that only one of those is really an option.

Our 5-night tickets arrived yesterday! I may have kissed them and danced around the living room a bit
The MMJ board kids have struck a deal with a bar called McGee's about 10 minutes from the venue. Beer list is pretty basic but it's cheap and they'd give us the whole 2nd floor to use as an "MMJ fort" for the week.
I'm allllllll about Brooklyn Brewery on Saturday, though!
^ I may hit up that Friday after I hit up another bar. As far Saturday goes, I wouldn't mind joining you for some Brooklyn. Garageland, are ya down for some Brooklyn on Sat?
