hmm, right i suppose flobots would be better suited to an afternoon act. more medium sized acts i would love to see that seem plausible for roo x-slightly stoopid, the dear hunter, sublime with rome, porcupine tree, vampire weekend, the cure (maybe which stage), echo and the bunnymen, the smiths, g love and the special sauce, neutral milk hotel, 311, and wolfmother( i think they would be great for roo)
The Cure is not a medium size act. They are headlining size act. Also, The Smiths will never play a show ever again.
Not that I am a huge fan but if in some bizzaro world Bonnaroo got a Smiths reunion, and Coachella did not there would be a lot of entertaining wailing and gnashing of teeth going on. Still it is about as likely as Phish, Furthur, and SCI headlining Coachella.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
Really hoping to see Furthur Radiohead Allman Bros WSP MMJ Neil and maybe SCI. I think they really need either Furthur, Phish, or ATLEAST the Rhythm Devils. Also Daft Punk and/or Chem Bros would be tight. I know Daft Punk is heavily rumored but I caught Chem Bros a couple months ago and their set was way to good.
IMO, NIN should have gotten the What LN spot, not phish. Also IMO, Byrne should have played What Stage, and the beasties bus should have driven off a cliff 10 years ago, but thats just me...
Well i feel stupid. But on the subject of headliners, if U2 is on the bill i will be dissapointed. Im really hoping to see phish this year, along with Gorillaz. It seems semi-plausible for Greenday to have a HL spot, ive never heard of them playing a festival before besides 1994 woodstock.

I would rather have a KOL Arcade Fire Superjam than Greenday.

That was the same event when Les Claypool got mud thrown at him while playing "My Name is Mud", then accused the mud slingers of only doing such to compensate for inadequate genitalia

Green Day headlined Lollapalooza last year, and have played any number of European festivals over the years. I don't picture them at Bonnaroo, though.
I have this theory that for the 10th "anniversary" they're going to feature mostly bands that have played the festival before, and that the headliners will be culled from among the biggest/best acts of each genre typically represented. This leads me to think that the headliners will be Phish (biggest "jam" band), Radiohead (biggest indie/modern rock band) and Neil Young (biggest "classic rock/legend" act).
It would make me and 98% of the board happy for sure. Of course just Radiohead and Phish would accomplish that as well. Most of us are big fans of at least one of them.
