Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!

Next time, it should be a latenight tent, so it can be a Midnight Ramble. Allow him to play as long as he wants (no longer than 2 - 2 1/2 hrs, as he's old), and let this be the Superjam to end all Superjams. Give him Warren, Jim James, Jack White, anyone...
The show in 08 was so good, that I think if he's brought back as a high profile late night it could go down as one of the best sets in Roo history.

After this weekend at Forecastle I've gotta put Cake and Devo on there... Devo would destroy some unsuspecting minds at bonnaroo. I would be pleased with Smashing Pumpkins although there are many other headliner-ish band I'd prefer (although Pumpkins would have been at the top of my list this year or last year as far as that slot goes)
The Rolling Stones Neil Young & Crazy Horse Paul McCartney Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers Roger Waters Performing the Wall Furthur featuring Phil Lesh & Bob Weir Muse Black Sabbath The White Stripes The Strokes Primus Queens of the Stone Age My Morning Jacket Interpol Arcade Fire Gov't Mule The Roots Spoon Santana Jimmy Page & Friends The Black Crowes with Jimmy Page Portishead Widespread Panic String Cheese Incident Bela Fleck & the Flecktones The Prodigy Explosions in the Sky Mos Def Allman Brothers Band Levon Helm Derek Trucks
and the whole "Levon Helm Superjam feat. James, White, and others"
The 'Levon Helm & Friends' set at Mountain Jam this year was pretty cool and nice. It brought out a lot of friends (Warren, Allison Krauss, Jackie Greene, Donald Fagen) and was pretty cool to see.
I'd love for Bonnaroo to get a collaboration act or two such as this. A pretty cool set with a lot of musicians just jamming (not necessarily a "superjam"). 2008 had the Bluegrass Allstars and "A very special acoustic performance by Larry Campbell, Jackie Green, Phil Lesh & Teresa Williams".
My ultimate set would be "Jimmy Page & Friends". Page has expressed interest in touring, so it's not too unlikely. Imagine bringing out Dave Grohl, John Paul Jones, Jack White, Chris Robison, Warren Haynes, ?uestlove, Jim James, etc.

My Wish/Dream List (otherwise known as my fave iPod artists)
Pink Floyd (or solo Waters or Gilmour) Gorillaz Soundgarden (or any Chris Cornell) Deftones
Massive Attack Portishead Radiohead Explosions in the Sky Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Queens of the Stone Age System of a Down any of these guys: Joe Satriani/Steve Vai/John Petrucci Buckethead
Other nice to sees: 311 Cake Silversun Pickups B-52's Shock of Pleasure (doubt they even tour, but check out this uber chill electro-lounge band from Dallas)

Ben Harper Pearl Jam Sound Garden Temple of the Dog (20 year reunion, a dream it is!-I would Leno myself) Radiohead Tribe called Quest Dr Dre Bjork Beck
Good list, if a little top heavy... except Ben Harper. I could go without him ever again, after he butchered Led Zeppelin in 07.

-Venetian Snares- none of you even know who this is
Hi. My name is stëvétêrñål. Welcome to Inforoo™.
EDIT: Go to the "Now Playing" thread and do a search for "venetian snares", and you'll see how much I love Aaron Funk. While you're at it, do a search for "last step".
One thing I've learned from my time on this board is to never assume that no one else listens to something that you listen to. And that is why I still gladly count myself as part of the community even though my time with Bonnaroo has passed!
Headliners: Paul McCartney or Neil Young (Older Act) The White Stripes or Radiohead (More popular large act) Gorillaz or Daft Punk (Fuck yes.)
LN Headliners: Arcade Fire
Mid-Tier: (Not in order) Modest Mouse The Decemberists Animal Collective Streetlight Manifesto Beirut The Avett Brothers The Pixies Primus Spoon Yeasayer
If Boards of Canada were given a late night set my life would be complete.
Also, HORSE the band please. They would never get more than a late night Thursday night set but I really think so many people would be destroyed by them.
