Personally I think This tent is fine where it is. But I really think they should move the lunar stage, or at least turn down the volume significantly
Perhaps move the Lunar to the area where the Adult Swim section was? Or would it be too close to the That Tent then?
That's the only other place it could go really... but it wouldn't really resolve anything. I think they should expand the size of centeroo since they own so much property. Then space things out a bit more. Or it might even work where it is if they just turned the damn volume down
My vote goes to Junk Culture. Randomly saw this dude in Athens earlier in the year and my head came seconds away from exploding. He does a lot of live looping with his vocals that you can't really hear on this track, but his beats are filthy from start to finish. i'm actually really surprised this hasn't been done in years past, expanding centeroo. this really seems like the only way to resolve the sound bleed issue. people have been complaining about it forever and here they go and drop a loud ass dance tent into the middle of things. i wonder why sound quality isn't a top priority for the organizers.
I think it is a concern of the organizers there's just soo many quackin bands who have all these intricate things that need to be done, so I think the lunar stage turns to a last priority because its new. If it were turned down to 3/4th to 4/5th of its 2010 volume at least during the day -> middle of late night, I think things would be more kosher.
Noise bleed and being kept up all night is kind of a Roo staple... I mean that's how real life is anyway, maybe I'm nycjaded
