but the Deftones, followed by Aphex Twin...now that might be something worth talking about...
This is the stuff dreams are made of. I would pay the entire bonnaroo ticket cost just to see these 2 perform at roo. Aphex twin is a long shot though. he rarely plays live. but we can dream

They ripped off and killed the industrial rock genre dead. Seriously one of the most unoriginal, famous-for-god-knows-what band of that era. Hate that band. It's like bad late era Ministry + stereotypical German Industrial vocals and image + Kiss theatrics.
Seriously, Roo could do way better with the genre than them.
Ugh... I really wish MSTRKRFT would just stop. I hate that music so much, incredibily unoriginal. I also hear their set in 07 was nothing to write home about. I really want that act to be no more, so we can get a Death From Above 1979 reunion.
One of those acts I can't stand, knowing the awesomeness from which they came, and the mediocrity of what it is now. Total waste of talent.
Edit: Whoops... MSTRKRFT played 08, not 07.
I enjoyed their set better than Tiesto's that year! And have seen them thrice since. Different strokes for different folks and all that.
I also vote no on the Rammstien initiative.... Caribou would be a nice add or perhaps That 1 Guy Michel Mernert (recently signed by Pretty Lights Music) Redman & Method Man Would also be fantastic.....

I saw a video of Aphex at Coachella and it looked disappointingly boring. No screens and he seemed to be playing mostly club-friend AFX stuff. But I've seen some videos from shows of his that looked amazing. He had screens with all his videos, and then other visuals that Chris Cunningham directed (the dude that does all his music videos, like come to daddy). Then he had dancers come out and they all had his creepy smiling face... now that... that would freak out alot of people if they were having an 'enhanced' experience
Hey hey now, you guys can laugh all you want, I stand beside my word on this one. Steve Aoki is the shit. Awesome DJ and a really fun show.
don't worry laggy. noD is probably just picking on you b/c you agreed on that something i thought was good. he's a meanie like that.
i think liking a "DJ" is perfectly fine, and it does NOT mean you don't have good taste. i would love to have steve aoki at bonnaroo, there have def been WAY worse dj's in the past.
