Only band I'd really want to come back next year is Lotus. Maybe MMW or Galactic as well. But I'd rather see new stuff this year instead of re-living last years roo, however excellent it was.
I could see them bringing back Neon Indian though. A lot of people that never heard of them were pretty impressed from where I was standing. I could see roo bringing them back for a REAL friday/saturday late night tent.
I vote yes to Miike Snow as well, they kicked ass, and they definitely should have played at night.
But, they should also bring back Chromeo by themselves. I left the Chromeo show at roo after about twenty minutes, because of how bored i was with it. At Lolla though, Chromeo performed alone and brought the house down.
A Mumford & Sons in a slot without an equally awesome band would be cool, but not yet. In a couple years. Warpaint has a new album out, so I think they'd come back. Also, not during Flips.
Remember last year when we thought Alberta Cross would return? Yeah, I was disappointed when it turned out to not be true. I loved their set in 09 and have really gotten into them since. Would love a return.
I agree with Neon Indian. The Black Keys because I was at Daryl Hall & Chromeo (which was my favorite show this year). Deadmau5 was a fucking blast so I'd love to do that again.
if you haven't seen them yet... mind-blowing. their 'Roo set KILLED, as did Rothbury '09 and All Good this year.
I've said it since June 10th that Lotus simply MUST[/b][/u] come back! Best show of last year in my opinion! Their appearance on the line-up would alone make it awesome fer me.
Totally agree. Started gettin' into Gaslight Anthem after that kind soul made the Bonnaroo 2010 playlist on grooveshark. Even in the blazin' heat they were a great show!
I completely agree that Chromeo should come back with a solo set, saw them at virgin freefest and it was absolutely great. I missed them this year at roo for The Black Keys, so would really love if they came back.
Miike Snow I also agree with, that would be such an awesome late night show.
I hope Dawes gets a Thurs tent this year. I caught them for a show inside the fiesta garage, and I was very impressed.

definitely lotus. other than that, disco biscuits, and clutch. Clutch's show was so awesome because it was so intimate. not a big crowd, but enough people to hear a roar of crowd sing a longs.
a truly amazing set, albeit one of the bands most sloppy and short lived shows. these guys are on the rise and are really going to become something really special down the line. seeing them at 'Roo, i got feeling that this was a "seeing them before they were big" type moment. for those that missed it, it was an amazing show, and something that i suspect will be repeated again really soon. hopefully next time they will be allowed to play more than five songs though.
I've seen them three times since, including at another festival, and they are much better than they were at Roo. Not that they were bad at Roo, but they are capable of playing a lot longer and more organized than they did. I think they're my favorite live band to see at the moment, but I wouldn't have thought just from Roo. I saw them solo in a parking lot in Minneapolis at the end of August and they were phenomenal. Then I saw them solo in Portland and at Bumbershoot below the Space Needle the next day where they were great, though they started twenty minutes late at Bumber. Most everyone who has seen them live thinks they kind of have a magical quality, it sort of feels like a communal joyful thing when I see them and it's nice to have a band show a lot of interest in the crowd. Also it's just fun to see that many people jangling around onstage. I wouldn't like them as much as I do based off of Roo or their album (though the album sounds way better to me now that I've seen them), but they truly are great live. This might help people get an idea of that:
Neon Indian was my favorite show at Roo so I'd love to see them return, but I'll have seen them again at least once before Roo X so if he's not back I won't be overly disappointed.
I would love to see Chromeo back on the farm.. but what would really be awesome is to see Chromeo with Daryl Hall again. That friday night at bonnaroo this year, Grooving to Daryl Hall and Chromeo, and then running over to the which stage after that show and getting my mind bended by Flaming Lips doing Dark Side.

i'd be fine with the national coming back every year, no not because we're both from cincinnati, well kind of, but mostly because that was one of the best shows i've ever seen at roo, but they probably won't be back for awhile
i'd like to see the black keys return without any conflicts
best undercard bands from 2010? edward sharpe, mumford & sons, dawes and harper simon were some of the best i saw
