^^^That's a good one. I've heard that term in reference to the sophistication of CGI and computer animation. The humans in Pixar (such as in "The Incredibles" and "Up"), for instance, can't look too human, even though the animators and technology are certainly capable of it. The public just wouldn't want it.

I am pretty sure this is why Polar Express freaked me out a little.
While I do not deny the humor of this website, I have made these observations myself in the past, I can not understand why you would spend so much time and effort to create it. If you can get the traffic high enough to make it worthwhile to sell ads, then you may make some money off it...
I know your site link says "It's not mine, but its awesome", but I dont care what you say, thats YOUR website. Its obvious to anyone who has spent any amount of time reading your posts here.
Setting up a tumblr and maintaining it is really quick and easy. Not a lot of time/effort needed. That's why there's so damn many of them.
Maybe that's where I'll host my blog then. I kind of like the fact that most people use it for pictures. I'll use it for long-form text and buck the mainstream. Get ready for it.
I said it in another thread.......but many people still use tumblr for text and regular blogging. it's just that the popular or "meme" tumblrs get noticed easier because of friends sharing the link with each other. those tumblrs go viral easier cuz they require like 5 minutes of your time and no thinking.
I live in Philly and there's one about 7 blocks from me on 33rd and Market. I've seen them all over Philly and never really knew what they were before until i saw this article. Apparently, the tiles are all over the US... check it out, its about resurrecting the dead on Jupiter
This is AWESOME. Totally blew my mind, thank you for posting that.
Brad Meltzer's Decoded had a great episode about Bohemian Grove if you ever happen to catch it.
