Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
I want good comedy for 2011, but I don't know if I want anyone as high on the lineup as Chris Rock or Conan. I would rather have a deep lineup of comedians, led by one or two solid names (Jim Gaffigan, Bob Saget, Louis C.K., Joel McHale, etc.)

Really? Seriously?
But, seriously...Bob Saget is supposedly somewhat funny now and curses a lot, apparently. Haven't seen his standup myself, though, just have heard that. That's been the worst kept secret in comedy for awhile, it seems.
Saget is incredibly dirty and I think his stand-up is alright. It is a little scattered and he goes for the shock effect sometimes, but he's alright. He has been hilarious on Entourage, and I could see him being a hipster favorite. Like I said, I just want a few good comics, but nobody big that would take away a spot for music.

hmm that would make sense. i was considering see him with some friends when he came to Atlanta, but maybe i should look up some of his actual standup before spend money on it
Bring back Jack Black! To MC What and do whatever else he wants (except another Tenacious D set). Knowing he was on the farm was comforting somehow. ;D

I really hated tosh at first. Something about his delivery is just awkward and offputting. But if you can get past that he's pretty damn funny. Pretty offensive though
I think Tosh's standup is excellent...that's what made me start watching the show. I had hoped to see him when he comes to Knoxville in October, but it sold out incredibly fast. If there are still tickets in Atlanta, then I say go for it RadioSpirit.

Kevin Smith doesn't really do stand-up comedy. He does Q+A sessions though, which result in him telling the most hilarious stories, which almost pretty much equates to stand up comedy. I'd be thrilled if they brought him in to do a Q+A, but I just don't see that happening.

Yeah, I didn't mean to imply that he did stand up. Kinda misleading. Sorry.
I could see them having him do a Q & A coupled with a cinema tent event (film festival, etc.). Smith and Mewes would be a pretty hot ticket, I think.
The shows are similar, but Daniel Tosh has been doing standup since before anyone had ever heard of Joel McHale...and Joel McHale is like the 5th host of that show...come on!

Bonnaroo 2011 Comedy Headliner
Robin Williams or Dave Chappelle
Robin Williams stand up is very funny and the man is a legend, I could see Bonnaroo adding him on. But Dave Chappelle would be AWESOME! You know he would get along with the Bonnaroo Crowd....
