OK, question for any RV experts that might still be hanging around.....how long can you run the AC on a gallon of gas? We are stressing about how much if any extra gas to bring with us? We don't like to sweat....
We ran ours pretty much as needed last year without a problem. Just never leave it on when you're not in there and only use it if your gonna be in there for a while (i.e. don't turn it on if you're just dropping by the RV for 20-30 minutes during the day).
It probably runs of the RV's regular gas tank so you can check and see how much gas you have left at any point during the weekend and see how much you've used. It will stop running the AC when you get down to 1/4 of a tank (safety mechanism so you don't use all your gas). So, definitely fill up right before you get in the gate.
And if you're in an RV make sure you have an extra gas can full of gas, cause you don't wanna run completely outta gas in one of those things.....itll take for damn ever to get iot started again.
Yes, the guy at the dealer did say it would cut off at 1/4 of a tank. So we are planning to bring at least one extra can...knowing us probably more than that.....just in case!
was worried that my backpack would be way over weight for the airline and i'd have to figure out what to leave behind but it's weighing in at 42lbs so i should be able to throw a couple beers in there before i leave.
becca, i believe we realized that we'd both be flying into nashville about the same time, my flight's scheduled to land at 1:20, i guess just look for someone that looks like my avatar and i'll do the same and get the inforoo meetup started
any other of you stragglers gonna be at the airport around then let me know maybe we can get something more official together before we hop on the shuttle...
