i used to live near the farm and the rumors near by were just that they were going to use the stage for outdoor concerts and such, bu there haven't been any yet that i know of...

How is that permanent stage looking? I had heard that the stage wasn't completely finished this year, and that they were going to continue working on it after the fest was over. Is it even visible from the street?
mojo. they have a big country festival either the week of or around roo. last year it was the week of and i think it will be the week of this y ear too. i think thats what you are thinking of. its in nashville
No more country fests, please. Riverbend is close enough. I'm thinking a Moog-esque fest or a fest with Local to Mid tier bands (bands that play Mid at 'Roo can headline)

I'm glad that CMA fest is around the same time as Bonnaroo. I think that it keeps out the inevitable invasion of country artists, being that Bonnaroo is so damn close to Nashville.
Dude I drove up to Nashville and I drove past exit 114 (yeah I remembered the number) and just started smiling. It was like 2am when I drove up so I couldnt see anything expect the hotel that I camped in front of Wednesday night. Then today on the drive home I kept looking through the trees and saw a big old stage. Needless to say I got chills as well.

That will be a really good festival I'm sure. I don't really consider Tennessee to be the middle of the country (unless you are looking strictly from a north to south perspective), but I would be all for it
