i hope wanda jackson is with jack white that would make this amazing.. Im going though last year was amazing and this year the lineup is really good. if u havent been to this venue i highly recommend it.. best festival grounds in florida
So wait a minute.....Wanee is a three day festival now. Does that mean, three nights of Allman Brothers Band?

I went last year and it was three days. Allman Bros. & Widespreadpanic played Friday & Saturday. There is no headliners on Thursday. Actually, the main stage is closed on thursday.
They said its 3 full days of music now, with the opening day being Wednesday. So the main stage won't be open Wednesday. Plus Panic is in Alabama Friday and Saturday so they have to play Thursday.

I'm pretty sure they said that last year. They had two or three tiny bands that played last year on Wednesday. I'm not sure if they were even on the lineup. That would be cool if they extended the music though.
If any of you 'Roo vets are on the fence about this - I would encourage you to go. It's easily one of the best fests in the country if you want something a little more low key.... and a LOT less hot!
Mojo, we should meet up at Wanee. I am heading there Wednesday. I am tentatively grabbing land for some peeps, I say tentatively because nothing is set in stone.
Any other Inforoo peeps want to set up camp together?.
Just anxiously awaiting a final word from the Boss before I can buy tix. If I get the green light to go, we will be camping in primitive RV (but since we will have a generator I've read that they direct you to Bubba's slide area due to - yes - noise!?) My preference is to camp near the Bat House primitive field.

Heading out in the morning. Look for the Quonset Hut, which I just heard will have a birthday cake on the doorstep(thanks Cindy!) or the Guy gifting Jello Shots! Like this, but with out the white thing.
Ended up going. I found out I was last tuesday and left the next day. I got on the rail, Schools side for panic and 5 rows back for plant, marley, and both nights of Allman bros. Stop breaking down with Luther Dickenson during Panic's set was insane.
Great time Wanee was! Some of the shots got lost in transport, I mean they fell into the cooler ice water, but I had made enough to gift out and pose for this picture.
