New Destroyer is awesome. I really didn't expect to like it this much, but it's really replayable.
Also, the new Wire is fantastic. I've only listened to Pink Flag before once, so they're still kind of new to me. But they still sounded great even after being around for awhile.

You think you'll catch that show with Weekend? I keep hearing Weekend throws it down live.
So I gave James Blake s/t a few more spins and I like it better than I did initially. I just don't care for Unluck and Lindesfarne I/II. I think they take off the flow of the album, but everything else is great.

What, where?
Also Wolf, Sic Alps. I downloaded the new album because I read Ty Segall was affiliated with the group, but it's a lot different than Segall's crunchy-swag garage rock. A lot more restrained and artier.
I saw on nod's last.fm that he's been listening to Sic Alps, and I know karosko has. So.....thoughts?
Killer. I love that there are so many short tracks, in the vein of 80s to early 90s indie-as-fuck bands like Sebadoh, Minutemen, Guided by Voices, etc.
Also this new Yuck (self-titled) is super fucking awesome.

Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
It's certainly the best since I'm Wide Awake/Digital Ash IMO. I could foresee me ranking it somewhere in the top 3 after it sinks in, just because I'm so impressed with it right off.
I'm so glad no two musical tastes are just alike. Who knows what god awful leno we would be stuck listening to if we all liked the same music. I guess we wouldn't know the difference, but everyone in the world could still be jacking off to this BS if some people had their way.

My opinion is biased since I'm such a groupie that he knows I'm the "chick who worked at the suicide hotline in Cleveland", but I think his music is gorgeously painful and I'm stoked about the new album.

Blu just released an EP named Amnesia that's pretty good and worth checking out if you're a fan. There beats are top notch, and there are some good instrumental songs on there too.
