1. Are you already weary of trolls? Fake posters? Multiple accounts? 2. If you see another Nodepreshon or Kateontheair are you going to scream? 3. Do the clues seem like their in another language and make as much sense as cursedlono's posts? 4. Are you as excited as I am to see roofanintn turn beet red and explode in frustration?
Then this is your thread.
The rules are simple. Post anything you want. Just don't try to solve a clue.
ATM keypads are as dirty as public toilet seats, according to British researchers. The enterprising scientists put their gloves on and took swabs from England's cash machines and finest porcelain and found both to be equally buggy.
We're talking pseudomonads and bacillus, bacteria that can make you sick and cause the very runs that would put you on that public toilet seat in a hurry.
"We were surprised by our results because the ATM machines were shown to be heavily contaminated with bacteria; to the same level as nearby public lavatories," said researcher Richard Hastings, microbiologist for BioCote.
Ah, but who's go something to shill? BioCote, which sells antibacterial coating.
Hmm.
In any case, this just shows why we use our knuckles to punch in our own PIN number.
lets talk about the brunch. i love the brunch. this year will be a great one has anyone talked to troo lately? he missed last year.
I talked to Troo via FB the other day - was supposed to be in Smyrna earlier this week (meeting got cancelled because of weather) but looks like I'll be going next week - I'll ask him if I see him (I assume you wanna know about the sausage gravy, huh?)
I'm done with the clue crap. I always get excited when the clues start, then quickly realize I have no idea what's going on.
Same. I liked them them in 2008, when they were easy as hell. Even I could get some of those! Now I feel like you need to have an entire team of people with encyclopedic knowledge of music and terrific lateral thinking skills just to decode these things.
There seems to be a lot less teamwork in solving these things than there was the first year or two. Now it seems like fewer people are trying to work off other people's suggestions, but just piping in with an answer that was already proven wrong 6 pages ago.
