That night was definitely one of the best Bonnaroo nights I have ever been a part of. Hands down. Everything I own goes to the first person to invent a time machine.....
I was at that show and I had some MOMENTS. I started to spin like I never have about 45 minutes into the show...Rolex's galore yea! Anyhow I took some pictures but I haven't looked at any of my 'Roo pics yet...I'm sure they came out pretty crappy....
I started behind the soundboard on the ramp dealie hangin out with some really nice people that had Vicks n' such...what a lifesaver! The view of the lights on the tent ceiling was amazing back there. Then I eventually worked my way to the front rail where things got really insane. I had completely lost my mind and was wearing a red, white, and black skull jester mask made from leather with bells on the top. Some people had a hard time looking at me! hah! At any rate up there in the middle maybe two or three folks back there was some guy that appeared to have completely lost it...his mouth was hanging open about 5 inches and his eyes looked like they were about to pop out of his skull sockets...he kept grabbing everyone (not in a mean way) because he appeared to be in total ecstacy and he REALLY liked my mask!
But yea there was a MOMENT up there as the sun was coming up where it felt almost like we were all one entity dancing and just going nuts to the sonic onslaught....everyone was holding one to one another and well...it was one of those moments...one I'll never experience again.
Thanks for the show Sasha and Digweed...and thanks to 'Roo for bringin' em to the party! Truly the best moment of Bonnaroo for this guy!

Here's a few, not the best quality:
The Sun coming up in the background
aweosme im in that picture! im the dude above the blue bandanna guy in the bottom right of the pic.
i kept going back and forth to the silent disco, cause i thought that was cool too! i did a really cool video series where i was coming back to s&d as the sun was coming up and focusing on the lights i walked up from outside all the way to the front. videos take to long to upload though so i prolly wont do it unless i edit them together.
heres some pics though, intensely beautiful set, i felt everyones love!
awesome pictures! i can kinda see the back of my head in two of them :-D i was the really tall girl with pink hair and body glitter dancing at the front. after the show was over i saw some security people going back stage, and for shits i asked if i could go. mr. bonnaroo security told me no one could go back unless they were security, but mr. AMAZING roadie told him let me go! fucking insane. i was so ecstatic to get to see sasha and digweed that i couldn't even say anything besides from "thanks for the best night ever!". heh, i was a little cockeyed at that point.

Were you also at Gogol Bordello? Cause I think I remember you.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
oh my god was that not the best show of the weekend or what. I swear that show changed my life for the better and i wish i could give everyone that was there a huge hug!! OH AND THAT WATER POD JAM WAS INSANLY AWESOME!! THEY FINALLY STOPPED US WHEN WE BUSTED THE WATER PIPE!!! I got some pics of the pod jam and the aftermath destruction!! Thanx again to everyone that made that night one of the best of my life!!

Having never been to a rave or really anything like it, I was totally blown away by this show! I have never danced harder or longer in my life. For me this was the highpoint of the whole weekend, totally epic.
Also, I took some pics, but they are not good at all, none of them are in focus...however, they look just like everything looked at the time.
Everybody was taking care of everybody else. The love was certainly in the air
The coolest of my Bonnaroo experience's went down at the Sasha set.
I was so in tune with the surroundings and the moment and even Sasha and Digweed himself that i found a piece of cardboard to write a request on with the Sharpie i had brought with me.
The sign read:
"Sasha: Be My Hero and Spin "Xpander"!!! -Boots ~ Lexington, KY (Bonnaroo 2007)
I made it up front and one of his crew handed him the sign. Both Sasha and John read the sign, laughed, and left for about 10 minutes before returning to lay down the recorded encore. In that time, stage crew members came out and set up audio recording mics and then the cameramen came out. Another guy came out to amp up the crowd, and then Sasha & Dig came out and slaughtered it. This was one of the best moments i've ever had. If you look close, you can see the piece of cardboard laying near his laptop.
One other thing... if you recognize these glasses, you are a friend of mine, hehe

I do recognize those glasses! you let me try them on at one point (girl with pink hair) :-D i remember when the sign got passed up, but i totally missed what was written on it. what an awesome experience for you!
Sasha + Digweed always put on a great show! This was my second time seeing them. For those of you that like this kind of scene, Ultra Music Festival in Miami is not to be missed. Picture the groove of the tent that night, and then expand it to a whole festival.
"With a bit of luck, his life was ruined forever. Always thinking that just behind some narrow door in all of his favorite bars, men in red woolen shirts are getting incredible kicks from things he'll never know."
Superfly should bring some HOUSE to Roo next year. Of course Underworld would be the deal, but I'd love to see something a little deeper and funkier. Honestly DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter, Silicone Soul (or anyone from Soma), or even Jeno or Garth from SF. If you want to go minimal, maybe bring some of the Kompakt guys over from Germany. Obviously Roo isn't Love Parade, but if Superfly is about pushing the envelope a bit...
did you guys hear the radiohead song at the end of the set????
Thom Yorke - The Eraser
Yea I heard them playing it my friend and I were walking out of centeroo when it started to play.. I swear that song was the perfect way to end the night soo calm and peacefull.. I was soo happy that day nothing could bring me down..
Does anyone else think is super bogus that they dont have any pics of this show up on the bonnaroo site? i mean c'mon that was an epic show! does anyone have it on mp3 by chance?
