No, because we know that it wouldn't be that obvious >_>
I never just throw away the obvious....when these clues first started....Pearl Jam's clue was 'Janis Joplin's Preserves'......sometimes things ARE so obvious, that we just don't think to use them, really!
I very much thought Owen - but it's hard to fit him into the rest of the clue - round peg moon shaped hole

the first band i thought when i read this was them crooked vultures.
red, white and blue signifying 3 people in the band. a young palette because the band is in its infancy. a farm heathen- john paul jones disguised amoung giants- josh homme and dave ghrol. also, because of the foos touring and qotsa's new album their only "ten i see" show and only at the 10th anniversary of bonnaroo.
might be a pile o shit guess, but, theres my 2 cents.

I don't think I like the idea of "young palette" simply referring to a fairly new band. If there's a real reason why the word "palette" would be used (like Warpaint) then okay, but I think there does need to be a reason - and not just a tenuous stretch you added at the last second to cram your favorite answer into the clue.
That said, I don't know how well Warpaint fits the second half of the clue. It fits the first half of the clue fairly well, albeit a bit too literally for my liking, but the second half...ehhh.

The town is known for its active music life, which Paste magazine named America's "Best Music Scene" in 2008.[6] The annual North Texas State Fair and Rodeo and the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival are major events that attract over 300,000 people. Denton has seen considerable growth in recent years and in 2006, Money magazine named Denton No. 58 out of the "Top 100 Best Places to Live in America."[7]

Oh, and I don't know about the idea of the last bit of the clue referring to an act who played in 2010, either. As someone pointed out earlier, there's virtually NO chance there's only one act on the lineup who played last year.
I know when that second sentence says "farm" and makes a pun on Tennessee it's awfully tempting to assume it's talking about Bonnaroo, but my guess would be that that isn't the case.

Shit also Cold War Kids, Tupac , Coachella, and, Iron and Wine, and Wnada Jackson need aprint version to flip to page 10 I am thinking. And we should all fear that.

You're very clever plasticpepper.
Hmmph - I guess we might be able to assume that "ten" is refering to the number ten.
