Most underwhelming additions ever. If I was given last year's lineup alongside this year's, and told to choose which was the tenth anniversary without knowing beforehand, I would honestly probably pick last year's. Kinda disappointed here.

I disagree....i'd pick this year's lineup....even before the additions.
Wasn't everyone expecting to be underwhelmed with all the Inforoo-driven addition hype? The comedy acts are very solid, any music additions are welcome additions, and there will still be some surprises before June.
If nothing else, this lineup addition signifies that Bonnaroo is that much closer. And that is something I cannot be more pleased about.
NOFX is a pretty awesome add in my opinion. I used to love them in high school and it'll be fun to see them interact with the roo crowd. Other than that, whatevr. Expected Shpongle and am happy it's Shpongletron, which could possibly mean a Which show thursday?
I guess all the kids complaining about reggae got their adds. Unfortunately, still not really any better electronic acts.
and I think the underwhelming-ness comes from the fact that the additions took almost a month longer than usual to be released, with no real evidence on the actual list as to why. Theres not one act on that additions list that I would think would be difficult to lock down.
I'm not complaining, though. The lineup is great.

agree, the line up is still awesome before these additions. So it really does not matter who they add after this. Anything more is just a bonus.

i'm just disappointed because I was expecting maybe a top-20 type music artist and with NOFX being the top addition, it leaves me kinda sad. i've seen NOFX live before and they suck, all they do is get drunk and constantly insult the crowd. still stoked for this year though because of the pretty awesome lineup and comedy
Some sites are reporting Allen Toussaint got added. Not on the Bonnaroo site tho -- anyone know the deal?!!
Artists Additions!
NOFX Galactic G. Love & Special Sauce Black Uhuru Shpongle Presents Shpongletron Experience Daniel Lanois' Black Dub Allen Toussaint (w Dr. John and The Original Meters) Anthony B Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears Ben Sollee Graveyard Dennis Coffey Forro in the Dark The Knux Naomi Shelton & The Gospel Queens Futurebirds Hangaii
I've lost any disalusionment about this year being any bigger or special because it's #10. The add's are decent but pretty much on par with the adds every year. Same for the initial lineup. Roo X is pretty much the same as Roo 9 IMO

These additions suck even by realistic additions. Last year we got Umphrey's, Gossip, John Butler, Ween and a couple others. Tiesto has been an addition when he was there.
Great comedy additions, but very underwhelming electronic adds. Love shpongle and shponlgetron will blow minds, but the lineup is still lacking in a big edm name imo.

It's there. From the official site.
OHHHHHHHHH SHIIIIIIIET!!!!
This is amazing.
Best lineup ever.
How could Allen motherfucking Toussaint not be featured in that video? I am crying with joy right now. My prayers have been answered. Bring on the funk.

I knew it was only a matter of time before this thread turned into Crybaby Central

Only thing that disappoints me is that after all the waiting, it made it seem as if we would have a bigger name than NOFX at the top of the lineup add. I'm not saying something unreasonable like Radiohead but Modest Mouse or Black Star would have been cool. Oh well, comedy is killer though.
I think this leaves the door wide open for some kind of electronic music/DJ addition later on. Even if it's not called the "Lunar Stage", the lack of electronic music on this lineup is too obvious to neglect.
I expect two more rounds of additions: Cafe's and Yet to be named electronic stage

I got excited when I saw w/ Dr. John & The Meters. At least we get a New Orleans show.
I was really expecting some form a of top electronic add above Bassnectar. I love the guy and am literally going to his show in Omaha tonight, but along with the other type cast electronic festival acts on the bill, this is really disappointing.
^^^Agreed!!! weak electro lineup, thank god i'm going to shambhala in aug.
Honestly I am a little relieved. I a mwaiting to buy my ticket until I get out of debt. I was legitimately worried that a couple of over the top adds would sell out the fest. I really was content for the lineup pre adds, but I'm not a huge EDM fan either.

I am very stoaked. Lewis Black! Ralphie May is unquacking beliveable, Cheech Marin! The music lineup was already packed and awesome, this gives Bonnaroo a nice round line up of excellent music and comedy! And not long to go!
