How about Sam Roberts? They did Bonnaroo in 2007 and have a new album coming out soon. The new single has been released up here and I think they said in a week or two in the US. They've got a ton of energy for live shows. I saw them open the main stage at Pemberton Festival in 2008 and it was unreal. Mind you about 30000 people showed up for that set so...
He/They would def only be a tent show at Bonnaroo. I do like the new single quite a bit though
I'm trying not to get my hopes up but some of those little yellow dots that seperate artists on the line up are gone.
I'm grasping at straws I know.
I actually like this find. I think that it means something for sure. Someone has been messing with the website. Personally I think they are making room for the lineup additions...
What I specifically like is the fact that the dot between "The Black Keys" and "Buffalo Springfield" is missing. That would mean a lineup addition pretty high up on the lineup. Someone sorta big
The dots are not missing, they just have some bush league web design going on, any time there is a word wrap the positioning for the yellow dot gets messed up and is being placed on the second line and hidden (except you can see a small sliver of it on some browsers).
That being said, yes, Radiohead is being added, my friend's friend's mom was on a train eating a ham sandwich and Thom Yorke came over and was all like "Oi! Can I ave that am sandwich govvna? Radio ead is playin Bonnaroo but don't tell anyone!"

The Decemberists are playing a show with Rodrigo Y Gabriela in the end of May...I'm really hoping that ups their chances of getting added. Honestly the best live show I've seen. Amazing musicians.

I saw them back @ Roo 07' and I was totally blown away! I would love if they were an add.

Prospect Park just announced that Andrew Bird will kick off their Celebrate Brooklyn concert series. The two artists that have done a free show to kick off the series were David Byrne in 09 and Norah Jones in 2010, which played Bonnaroo those years. Not saying there is a straight connection, but there seems like a decent chance that we could see Bird on Saturday or Sunday. The other thing to note is that I think Byrne and Jones opened on a weekday prior to Bonnaroo. Don't know the dates, but I do know they were right around Bonnaroo both times.

After thinking about it, I don't think the dots mean anything. That said, I still don't see some of the dots. For example....in between The Black Keys and Buffalo Springfield....NO DOT.
^^^^ If you copy the text from the webpage and paste it into a word processor the dots "magically" appear. It's just an html formatting thing that makes them "disappear".

AH! Thanks for the clarification...I was wondering what I was missing
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Eugene Mirman is fucking hilarious. Seriously one of the funniest comedians working today. That's great. Probably won't get to see any comedy this year, though
As long as Black Star gets added, I will be totally happy with the additions.

Andrew Bird would be a great add for me. I know I"m a little late on the bandwagon but I haven't ever made it to one of his shows so having him at the farm would be a can't miss for me.

I don't understand why a lot of people skip comedy. Most of the "big" comedians play early afternoon slots where not much is going on, and it's an excellent break.

Yeah, this is what I did last year with both Conan O' Brien and Aziz Ansari, didn't regret it one bit.
I just feel like there's going to be more I want to see in the afternoons this year (Sharon van Etten, Phosphorescent, Black Angels, etc.). If there are no good shows before 2 or 3 like last year, yeah, I'll probably hit up the Comedy Tent again. Like you said, it's a nice break (especially since there won't be lines for Mirman like there were for Aziz and Conan).
I agree there will be more before 2 or 3 this year I want to see than last year, but let's not discount Jay Electronica, Punch Brothers, Trombone Shorty, Tokyo Police Club, John Butler, Calexico and Japandroids.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

I always see at least one comedy show. It's a nice break (sitting in a chair with a back in a relatively-cool room) and if there's no acts i'm dying to see then why not check it out.
Hopefully next week then. I hope we get all of the remaining tent/stage acts in one add. Also, I would like a couple of surprises and at least 2-3 upper/mid tier acts when the additions come our way.
New Bright Eyes tour (with Dawes and M. Ward) takes them right through the area...
June 7 - Louisville, KY June 8 - Columbus, OH June 9 - Pittsburgh, PA June 10 - Philadelphia, PA June 11 - Washington, DC.
Unfortunately, June 12 looks pretty packed as it is, but this could leave the possibility for an addition (if The Strokes are not the Which Stage closer, Bright Eyes would be a pretty good get for that spot). Though, if they aren't an add, I am really baffled at why Bonnaroo did not try to get them to play (it's not like their tour would prevent them from playing).

That's generally what happens:
March is more tent/stage acts
April is generally cafe adds and DJs (not 100% sure)
May is schedule and more smaller acts maybe; ie Road to Bonnaroo bands
