They are not my favorite band in the world but they can be fun to listen to. I am pretty happy they are at the farm since they do not tour anymore I have not seen them as SCI since the 07 show which was actually a lot of fun.

I've been checking em out. Seems like it'll be a fun set. I have a feeling I'll miss them (esp if they play latenight) for other conflicts... I kinda wish they were closing out Sunday instead of WSP, if I only get one unopposed jam headliner I'd rather check out these guys
I liked their show in 2007 a lot, and still listen to that set on my ipod. I'm pretty tired of WSP; I'm not sure if it's because I've seen them so many times now, but WSP just feels...predictable (?) to me now. I'm really glad they're playing this year. Especially as I'm not sure I will ever get a chance to see them live again.
I would like to see the play Which or What from 3-5pm on saturday before the black keys.. I want to see them but like laggy said if they conflict late night i probably will go the other direction

P.S. since they're already there anyways, do you think there's any chance we'll get an EOTO set? I've never seen em but I hear they're great, and the idea of dubstep jamtronica is pretty intriguing

I was kind of hoping for them to welcome the sunrise on Sun morning tbh. Thought it might be a nice way to wrap up a crazy Sat night/sun early am...

They are pretty likely to be a late night. Possibly a Which stage show during the evening, but hard to say. They are a pretty big band these days though so I would expect to see them in a premium spot of some sort.

This would be ideal actually. I could see all the other latenights, then wander over to SCI at like 4am-til sunrise like I did with bisco last year :-D

hopefully they put some practice time in before this show. theyve done like a dozen shows the past two years so they havent exactly been fine tuning their live performances. ill see them if theres nothing else major going on but am not gonna be too bummed out if i cant catch them

Yeah I agree they will probably be late night.. I just have a feeling they will be in one of those big conflicting time spots.. i hope not but with so many bands that could possibly get a late night I kinda see that happening.. but they do play long shows so it could work out if they one of those 12am-3am or 4am jam spots so ppl could check out the last half of the show if they are conflicted

They should do 2 latenight Which shows one night. Someone like primus/lil wayne/whoever can play 11:30-1:30 and then SCI 2:30-5. That would be ideal :-D
I'm REALLY excited for this. Not my favorite band - I would rarely pop in a CD and listen to it - but they put on a fun ass live show. If this is LN Which then I can already see the glowsticks, beach balls, dancing and other shenanigans going down.
they have been getting a really trancey, electronic vibe in their improv (due to Jason and Mike's added EOTO vibe). listen to any of the Hornings shows from last year.
Definitely my most anticipated set of the weekend. I love them but caught on to the game too late and never got a chance to see them. Couldn't be more stoked. I would say it's basically a given they'll be LN Which on Saturday.

I've been listening to some of their stuff and I'm into it...not usually into jam, but I am open to it and I definitely like that these guys are a little more bluegrassy than some of the other jam bands out there. I'm looking forward to their set.

Same here. Granted, most jam that Ive listened to (Umphreys, Phish, Widespread mostly) Ive enjoyed, but I dont find myself listening to it repeatedly. I downloaded String Cheese's 2004 Bonnaroo set and Ive listened to it probably 5 or 6 times already. Really digging these guys, hopefully the conflicts arent too bad if they play LN because Im getting pretty excited to see them.
After the SuperJam in 07, I walked by Which and heard out in the distance someone singing about fuzzy sweaters. I was like, "WTF" and headed on back to camp.

I have to agree with Laggy and have them be a part of a 2 set late night party on Which.
I am not the biggest fan of theirs but they are definitely worth seeing live. I saw them as part of one of the long dead, Big Summer Jams and they were a pleasant surprise. The beauty of an SCI set at a festival like Roo is that they are likely to get 4 hours (like moe. in 09) so you can check out a half hour here and there and still not miss out on anything else you want to see.

i could see bassnectar opening for them on which late night.
is bassnectar "big enough" to play late night which? maybe. maybe not.
NYE 2006 bassnectar actually came out to do dubuasca and SCI jammed over it.

My thoughts exactly. And I don't see how EOTO doesn't play a set as well.

I can't imagine Bassnectar would get a which spot.. I was thinking more along the lines of Primus>SCI A Bassnectar/SCI collab would be awesome though
