Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Seeing how Bonnaroo is full of surprises does anyone else feel that the 10th year anniversary should be a phenomenal year. What Im truly hoping is that they are bringing back the 2nd announcement fun. Maybe after tickets go on sale some huge surprises come into play. I'm still grateful for the line-up and the experience of Roo (its my forth and I loved 2006) in itself, but I feel that there is something more, the list looks particularly small. I live in Louisiana and I am looking forward to Jazz fest, sxsw and Hang out fest....seeing their line-ups makes me wonder, especially Hang out which is still in its infancy and has some great artist.
So what do you feel could come of the 10th year? I cant imagine they would over look the awesomeness behind celebrating a decade of uniqueness. Please manifest with me, if you will, what beauty can come from this.
Bonnaroo 2011 will be the 10th Anniversary of the festival. We are looking to make this year very special and are concentrating on the SuperJam / collaboration aspect of the festival. The following have been confirmed, look for special guests, sit ins and more!
Seriously hand outs of cake and ice cream after a late night show would be the BEST THING EVER IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND!
I agree. If I could figure out how to get the ice cream to Roo and keep it from melting, I would totally do it.
In 2009 they had Butterfinger giving out free cups of soft serve ice cream with crushed up butterfinger on them. It was delicious and nonstop. Every single time I walked by I'd grab one or two.

That was amazing.
YES! It was very much like a Butterfinger Blizzard, which happens to by my favorite kind of Blizzard. On Sunday night 09 during Phish, the folks from the Butterfinger tent were walking in the crowd at the What Stage and gave me an entire, unopened bag of miniature Butterfingers. We had those candy bars for months.
Seriously, yes. Last year, the Wheat Thins lounge-thingy had some free crackers. Not like whole boxes but I can't eat many of those anyway. The trick is to seek out the sponsor tents on Thursday and get the free stuff...

I love it when people complain about sponsors but then use the free shampoo and free outlets and go home with free souvenirs (frisbees from Xbox tent, spin art vinyl records from Fuse barn).

Since the traditional 10th anny gift (even though this isn't the 10th anny) is aluminum or tin, I think that giveaways of cans of beer will be perfect! With enough beer we may not get home until the 10th anny really happens!
I am all about some free stuff; I have no problems with it! I mean, if somebody wants to wash my nasty Bonnaroo hair for free with their fancy shampoo, yes, please do! Cause people don't want to wash my hair for free when it's not-nasty.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Busted one of my VIP surprises The ice cream choices; Ben &Jerry's Phish food and Bonnaroo Buzz. Juggs is right, dry ice will keep things frozen solid, like a rock. The cakes are either a white cake with rasberry filling or/and a triple chocolate delight.
While I'm not counting on it, I think it's quite possible there will be some surprise guest spots (like Nas at Beastie Boys in '09, and not just sit-ins from people who are already on the bill), and maybe even a big last minute addition (like Jimmy Buffett in '09 or John Paul Jones in '07).
