I missed last year because the heat was so bad I stayed home and did Day Parking (actually Night parking.) Won't be doing that again. Not Really Roo if you don;t camp, IMHO.
This year so far we've broken a couple records for heat but today it won't get out of the 50's. Strange weather flip-flops so far but maybe we'll get one of these cool breaks for Roo. We'll call it Bonnaroo winter. Now that would be a 10th Anniversary present!
And thanks again Bunny for all your organization. I've got everything ready for biscuits and gravy.
My neighbors last year that came from Texas brought their own homemade moonshine. I tried a bit of it, but my buddy Zack was drinkin' it the whole weekend. Wasn't really my cup of tea.
Silly question but do we have anything we could use jellybeans for? I was just in the store where they are 9 cents a bag but I'll be damned if I can think of anything to do with them.

Sell them for 11 dollars a piece to spun out kids after Arcade Fire....

Hi I'm a virgin to Roo and also pretty much to this message board. I'm camping in tent only and I was wondering if I could bring anything to the brunch? It'd be nice to meet new people

Bring yourself - meet some new and really cool people - hang out with us.
And if you just have to bring something - uh - maybe cups - ice is always welcome - fruit is good - cold fruit cups are even better

and also..."Trail Mix add in - Put some jelly beans in your trail mix. The added sugar will give you a boost or sugar high."
Is it me or do those recipes all look like they were made solely to use up extra jelly beans . Hell, I may buy a bunch and just hand them out by the handful or something.

lol yeah. A lot of that stuff seemed like it was Easter recipes or something. *shrugs* I think it is easier to just hand out. People might like the lil sugar fix. I'm not sure I'd like it as much if I mixed it with anything like in those recipes, since it has a hard shell to it.

holy crow I just found the BEST recipe for BRUNCH!! Tequila soaked margarita cupcakes!! Can anyone think of an easy, cheap, convient way to store and transport (camp to camp) the frosting until right before serving? Other than keeping it in like a cup of ice. How fast do you think fronting would melt out there? Is it even worth making or does the cupcake part alone not sound fantastic! They're a lime/tequila base for the cake then you pour on more of the good stuff after they've baked! Think of it as "drunk cup cake"!! hahahaha, omg I'm so pumped to try making them this weekend :-)

I just posted this in another thread but I thought maybe it should be posted here too. Here's a pic I found in my old picture album of the very first Inforoo meet-up in 2004. This was before we were actually called Inforoo! Enjoy! lol

OK You had me @ margarita...
You bring the cupcakes...send me the recipe for the icing....our RV has a refrig so I can keep it cold until the brunch!!
oh oh oh... just traded my soul.. ok not.. but a few closely held recipes for the "Crack Cake recipe". I rarely if ever eat desserts.. but the 'Crack cake'.. oh the 'crack cake'. Two bites and two days later you are dreaming of another taste! Hell on the way home after the two bites you want more. White cake- coconut- Coconut cream, cream cheese topping and come to find out its lightly soaked in rum as well - if you want. Version we had was family friendly unless you want the children to sleep tonight. Low sugar and yet it cant be! If anyone closer than 18 hours is interested in the recipe, will send. It comes with a warning label.. No dessert people will be knocking at your door at 2 and demanding more. : )
There is going to be sooo much good food at Brunch, I am going to be so full, and drunk, but disappointed that I did not try/missed, so-in-so's delicious baked Cajun teriyaki frog wings. I am very excited for Brunch! ;D
Hey Bunny, I love those bunny slippers in your signature, they were, I mean they are on the Playa! sweet!

Do you know if those guys are wearing the Cicadaroo t-shirts? I made one of those and it's packed away somewhere! Can't remember if someone made the design on the listserv or what...
