I usually bring a small camelback with pockets (very similar to the one GuitarDevil suggests) and then wear cargo shorts. If you can't fit everything you need comfortably into those two items then I don't know what to tell ya.
I usually only break out the waterproof blanket for headliners and if the ground overall is quite damp
