Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Totally agreed on both fronts. Oh and if you havent seem mumford yet they play a great show I think, very high energy
I haven't seen them live yet but I watched the Grammys just to see them with Bob Dylan and the Avett Brothers (who I really like as well). Mumford is the style music I've been leaning towards more recently. That twangy sounding stuff...if that makes sense.
Totally makes sense same here actually. I didnt see the grammys but I heard it was a really good performance and actually helped them make huge jumps in sales on itunes. You will be in for a real treat with Mumford hopefully they dont disappoint
The decemberist is one of my others I am really excited about. Ill have to try to find it on youtube. Yea all my vacation days are usually spent getting stuff done that needs to get done or just relaxing at home so it will be nice to get out in the sun, relax, chill, listen to some good music and have fun with my new friends
word of mouth for sure. that and the lineup reaches out to a different type of fan base. if you a music fan your gonna love this lineup and that is why i think there are so many bonnaroo virgins this year. i happen to be one of them!
This. I love all kinds of music. I wouldn't say I'm a huge Eminem fan so I'm glad I get the opportunity to see him at a festival (definitely wouldn't pay to see an arena tour of his :/ ). MUMFORD RIGHT NOW PLEASE!
at least you are open minded about seeing eminem and the other hip-hop acts. if i can recommend one other hip-hop person to check out it would be chiddy bang. please check them out. ps pumped about seeing mumford and sons as well.

Last year was my first Roo, and also my first festival. Drove down from North Dakota with the girl I was dating (her first time also) and we had a blast. So happy I went. I've been telling people about it all year. I think it's great that there's a huge influx of new people every year. More people who get to share in the memories. I'm hoping to bring my sister with this year, and this will be her first Roo. She's really pumped to be going. Hope all you first timers have a great experience. Drink tons of water!

I don't think everyone needs that 'one' band to bring them in and commit to 'roo. I first went in 2009 and it was because I liked 10-12 acts on the lineup and go them all for $250...not the other way 'round. I'm really excited for a ton of acts this year, and seeing things I've never heard of too.
It's a great experience all the way...you learn a lot about yourself and the people you go with...be it good or bad.
Also konstantine I'm excited for Neon Trees too! I work in a store at the mall and it seems like 'animal' is always playing. I saw them at Lollapalooza last August (yes, I bought a day ticket to see Lady Gaga, so judge me) and they were awesome! Not only the music, but the stage prattle was witty and..for lack of a better word, inspiring.
I'm gonna be volunteering this year for lack of funds, but hope it all works out and I can make it!

The excitement will continue to build, and Welcome to the website Noob!
It has been a while since I have visited the website and the Farm for that matter. I went to the first 6 Roo's (02-07) but have not been present for the last 3. Well here I come Lured back to the Farm for #10 as I said I would definitely return if it went 10. And I am so happy it did.
Roo was one of my first festies EVER when I was 19. Now at 28, the anticipation of returning to a place where I saw a multitude of great bands and acts and art, as well as make some phenomenal friends and have some of the best times of my life is giving me goosebumps!
and OCMS is gonna be great. Check out Railroad Earth.
Anyway, Welcome to the first of what will be many I am sure for you as you will be addicted. I know I was when I went first. Enjoy all of the experience and don't rest to much, there is almost always great music going on.

CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN FOR MY 7TH ROOOOOOO!!!!!
I will be sure to check them out! Thank you for the welcome and a welcome back to you!! I get like tears of joy every time I come to the boards and read about how much fun I'm going to have and how moving the whole experience will be. aaahhh!! =D
Roo rookie myself-been to other festivals (Beale St. Music Fest. many years, among others) but I've never camped.
Truthfully, I only decided to break my "Roo cherry once I starting reading on this board. The Black Keys, Buffalo Springfield, Warren Hayes, Robert Plant and Loretta Lynn (She's a legend) are the acts I really want to see, but for me, it's not so much about seeing them as it is being part of a community of cool, peaceful, music loving people for one weekend.
Everyone (almost) on this board seems like people I'd like to get to know. Thanks to all you vets for the wonderful advice for us rookies. I've already started stocking up on my supplies-new tent, EZ Up, flashlight, headlamps, shoes, ear plugs, etc.
I'm going solo for my first "Roo and I hope to hang with some of you and can't wait to meet all you guys. Let's party.
Welcome BigDinAL. When you arrive on The Farm, you'll be welcomed to a wonderland. Bonnaroo is a great experience and I'm hopin' to have a few more noobies in tow with me again this year. The community aspect of 'Roo is a big part of what makes the festival so great, and new blood is always welcome!
