My grandfather was right. I now know in my heart of hearts that people are supposed to make love. It is their main purpose in life. All those other activities - playing the violin, washing dishes, reading novels, drinking wine - are just ways of passing time, until you can make love again.

Eight Days a Week
"Sue's teacher, Brenda. She's... She's dead." "Oh. I better tell her." "No, no, no. I can do it. Sue?" "Yes?" "You know your teacher, Miss Brenda?" "Yeah." "She's dead!" "Aah!" "Gone forever! Died a horrible, painful death! Gone, gone, gone, just like your dog!" "My dog's dead?" "I just ran him over with the car when I drove in! Everyone you love around you is dying!"
Quit? You know, once I was thinking of quitting when I was diagnosed with brain, lung and testicular cancer all at the same time. But with the love and support of my friends and family, I got back on the bike and won the Tour de France five times in a row. But I'm sure you have a good reason to quit. So what are you dying of that's keeping you from the finals?

(I cheated )
Here's my quote. I wanted another one from the same movie, but it's just too damn vulgar for public consumption. If you can guess which movie this is, you'll know exactly the dialog I'm talking about:
The longest distance between two points is a kidnapper and his money.

the shining
B: There was a moment... when I used to blame everything and everyone... for all the pain and suffering and vile things that happened to me, that I saw happen to my people. Used to blame everybody. Blamed white people, blamed society, blamed God. I didn't get no answers 'cause I was asking the wrong questions. You have to ask the right questions.
D: Like what?
B: Has anything you've done made your life better?"
