Did anyone see the guy playing guitar and drums at the same time? He was right by the planks you have to walk on to get to centeroo. It was in the campgrounds in the back corner named after all the James Bonds characters. He was really good!!
I saw him. I was too tired to give him proper praise. But we were back there in pu$$y Galore. Heckuva walk at 3 in the morning.
anyone see the topless hippie dancing at Kellar Williams? she had long dark hair (and eh hairy underarms and legs...true hippie) and a floppy skirt on. She danced around with some ribbons...very distracting from Kellar....LOL
Memories! Thanks for reminding me of all these things!
I saw the spontaneous burlesque parade, didn't capture any pics.
As for the luchadors, I was like 6 feet to the right when you were taking this picture and remember when they posed. Too cool! We too were wondering if it was due to a lost bed, esp. with the chair being attached.
It was funny to be at the White Stripes and it seemed almost the whole crowd was staring at the rings in the sky, absolutely mesmerized, yet still quietly singing along with the band. I didn't think to take pictures of it all.
I keep going back to the Hair Band Groupies - did you guys see the girls in pleather hot pants, teased blonde hair, bustiers, full faces of makeup and hooker shoes? They handled the rough terrain of Centeroo like it was nothing at all in those heels.

You mean this...
Click the pic for a film.
That was actually one of the coolest things I saw at Bonnaroo. Kinda' summed the whole thing up for me. There was a little bit of everything there and I really had a hard time figuring out what to capture. I just wanted to capture the moment. It was strange, fleeting and beautiful.

I did, she and a couple of friends of hers who were topless as well and were behind me for Xavier Rudd. I could feel all of them pressing behind me since I was front row for the set. The girl you were talking about taps me on the shoulder, and I turn around and I see couple of topless hippie chicks staring right at me wanting to get front row for Keller.(caught me off guard alittle) I told them I was leaving after Xavier anyways. Very weird.
i havent seen anyone mention the dude and the girl that were twirling the fireballs, they were obviously practiced profesionals, very impresive skillz. i think it was after the tool show.
I don't know if anyone else saw this, but it was a man, who was usually stationed around the church. He played tambourine all day. He would hammer out a rhythm and do the odd spin-around. He often had a guy sitting down next to him, watching him intently. I passed them by three times on Saturday, 7 hours total -- and the guy was still there, spinning away while the kid watched.
Does anyone have a picture of this guy and/or his sidekick, the observer? He was great.

p.s. i love that dead bear. i wish i woulda seen him, i woulda given him a hug. i bet he got lots of hugs
The life size dead bear didn't seem very friendly. i saw him repeatedly at the Ratdog show, but either his peripheral vision was terrible or he was an ass.... he would NEVER slap 5 with me. I kept thinking. This guy should be hugging and high-5-ing everyone and making everyone's day, but he's just pissing me off! ;D

I think I swa the guy yr talking about. We saw him a few times on the paved road by all the carnival food, just spinning and banging that tambourine and chanting "Hare Rama". I think he was with the guys handing out the Bhagavad Gita. You're right though, I don't think he ever stopped the whole weekend.

I did catch the random burlesque show. Seeing a topless woman on stilts was nice.
Did anyone see the guy running on top of the portajohns after WSP. We were walking out and I heard a bunch of people cheering and I look up and this guy is running his ass off on top of all the portajohns and when he gets to the last one he just jumps off and belly flops on the ground. Thats the way to end bonnaroo!! Although I'd hate to have been pissing in one of those things and hear somebody jumping on top of it.
Yeah I saw that! I was thinking the exact same thing, way to end roo with a bang...er, splat! That dive must have fucked that dude up
Gotta put op my picture of the guy with the rainbow hair playing the toy guitar/keyboard on Shardown... He was babbling about how there are "No laws in the republic of the united states of bonnaroo"
That guy was in front of me at Xavier Rudd and I guess that's what made me remember your post about him (and me wondering if it was the same rainbow haired guy and how many of those there may be). Well, found this today on youtube:

Did anyone see the kid pass out three times waiting for lewis black on Thursday?
My dumb psyche tells me to stay up all night and drive to bonnaroo...sleep for an hour at walmart...wake up, get drunk, etc, park, erect tent, and played the rest of the day. I drank tequila, rum and loads of beer and headed into centeroo...no naps, no breaks, and I went balls out the whole day.
I think it was exhaustion more than anything...that and a hypoglycemic induced psychosis. Anyways, I felt so embarrassed!

Okay, I saw a few awesome things/people.
Anyone see the little kid with the mohawk and his face painted like spiderman? Or the guy who was riding a blow-up horse? ORRR the CRAZY guy who was waiting for the lips way in advance, yelling mean things to everyone and telling the sound check guys to "STOP F*CKING PLAYING"? Honestly, funniest thing I've ever seen. If anyone has a video of him, I'd really really like it. I was saving my camera batts for the lips. (Glad I did, by the way, best show ever.)

That is definatly an ostrich, not a horse. And yes I did see him a few times and he cracked me up every time. Thanks for capturing that one on film. I didn't get any shots of him.
