So I bought a ticket using the payment plan right when tickets went on-sale. Since then I took my first real job after college graduation and will be unable to take off time to goto Bonnaroo, which leaves me super bummed. Anyway, I just want to sell my ticket for face value or find out about getting a refund or cancelling the rest of the payments? Does anyone have any idea how I would go about this and what would be the best idea?

Bummer. I've seen posts like this before and the mods direct you to eBay or craigslist or some other marketing venue. Not sure how it works when you're in the middle of a payment pan though. Selling and buying tix is verbotten on Inforoo. They'll lock this thread up soon.
I dont want to sell it to anyone on here, I was just wondering if we dont even get the wristband/ticket until late May it's gonna leave me about a week to come up with a solution...FML

Ouch. That sucks. (But congratulations on the job).
I don't believe you can get a refund, but I'm sure you can stop the rest of the payments (forfeiting whatever you have paid to this point) by either calling the company or blocking the charge with your credit card.
Up to you if you want to finish off the payments and try selling them elsewhere. Guess it just depends on how much you have sunk into them now and how much effort you're willing to put in recouping that.
Or, if you feel comfortable enough, maybe try reasoning with your new employer, and explain the situation (vacation arrangements already made, etc). I did that one year.

You can't stop making payments. If you miss a payment then not only do you lose your ticket (potentially) but you contractually agreed to pay the balance even though you would lose the rights to your tickets. I do know that using a service like StubHub you can specify that you don't have the tickets in your possession but will on a certain date and you can still offer them for sale today. You of course won't be paid until after the buyer has received the tickets. I would try to find someone you know that wants to go and work out something casual.
I know people sell them on ebay or craigslist before they recieve them in the mail and have an agreement with the buyer that it will be mailed out as soon as you recieve them. Then you are not trying to get rid of it in the week or two before the show. Most people buying them on line (not from bonnaroo) understand that tickets are not mailed out yet. I would not to get the entire price of the ticket back though.
finish the payments just post an add on craiglist or ebay now. Ive bought many tickets online with the agreement they would be shipped when the seller received them. Just be prepared to overnight them to put the buyer at ease.

Yes, be aware that the tix generally don't get issued until just before the fest so you will need to hop to it when they do.
^^^Exactly this. We had to sell a pair a couple of years ago and as long as you're able to overnight them they will sell on ebay we got a few dollars off face value, not a huge loss. Haven't tried craigslist.

never sold tickets through them, but stubhub might be another option. It looks like they are selling coachella tickets on there. either way, you are prob going to have to keep making payments.
