This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

A Q&A with a filmmaker? What is this, South by South Bonnaroo? AmIright?
Just kidding, this actually sounds pretty cool. I've seen Garden State all of 0 times, so I'd LOVE to be able to talk with the guy who wrote/directed/acted in it immediately after watching it.
And I know this thread is supposed to be about Zach Braff but I really wouldn't mind if it took a left turn into Natalie Portman riiiiiiiiiiiight abooouut nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnow.

What Roo needs next year, is to get 15 or so of Jesus Franco's movies, get a jazz group together to perform his compositions, and get his old ass to sit and talk for 5 hours about the making of Venus In Furs.
I'd so be there. (This comment is half facetious half serious.)

if we're making requests for directors to come talk in the cinema tent, then i want werner herzog to come discuss grizzly man... or any movie he's made for that matter

So you want Werner Herzog to come discuss Grizzly Man?
I want Nod to post the Black Swan gif with Portman in the bed.

Since it hasn't been released and is only playing to showings that Smith is hosting, I suspect the rating largely has something to do with the Phelps clan.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
agree with all the Kevin Smith comments. And while we're on the subject of Smith, Red State looks interesting
When they were soliciting suggestions for the cinema tent, I did suggest Red State. Also Tucker and Dale vs. Evil.
How did I forget about Red State? Eh, well I suggested a film I'd rather see (and I do love me some Kevin Smith films), American: The Bill Hicks Story. Fuck I just wanna see that so bad. And I think the crowd at Bonnaroo could be receptive to the film and/or Bill's message.
