Big K.R.I.T. for Bonnaroo 2012

Yeah Return to 4eva is fantastic. His work with Curren$y is what turned me on to him.

You are 100% right, Juggs, Bonnaroo is always a step behind on the rising stars (see: OFWGKTA along with K.R.I.T., Curren$y, Big Sean, etc. this year).

It's not necessarily a bad thing, just, like you said, they wait until they're more established; that's why Wiz Khalifa is playing this year, he already has a massive single and a few other big ones.

Sometimes you like to catch rising artists right at the time when they're blowing up, but you just have to accept that that probably won't happen at Bonnaroo because it's not their M.O. and take advantage of other opportunities to do that outside of Bonnaroo. I'm seeing Curren$y in a couple months at Cat's Cradle, the same place I saw Gibbs & KRIT last night.

For fucks sake how many threads do we need in here for bands that are not playing this year. This is not the wishlist forum or anything....

That is why there is a section in the other forum explicitly for talking about bands that are not playing Bonnaroo. I realize that you think this band is SOOOO important that it requires being placed in a more trafficked area that other people use to discuss the bands we will actually be seeing in June. However it just clutters shit up and makes it hard to use this one for its intended purpose. I am glad you found a new band you like but there is still no reason to have to discuss them in here.

Worst? he's seems to me like he's calmly making a reasonable request based on the rules of the forum.

For some reason he has a huge chip on his shoulder and thinks I hate him. Personally I could give a damn, hate is strong word. I sure would not want him marrying my daughter or anything though.


Also Karosko it is a lot easier to keep this forum readable without people who know better breaking the rules so they can call attention to themselves and whatever music it is they want to discuss. I mean it is bad enough when the noobs do it, but it is really frustrating when people who have been here almost a year have no respect for the board or the system we have here of doing things.

Also, this thread was not meant to call attention to itself. I just wanted to talk about Big K.R.I.T. I'm fine with it being moved. Honestly, I just put it here because I clicked on the forum the OFWGKTA thread was in and posted. I didn't think that much about it.

Bullshit, you know exactly how this board works. You have been here a year and have 2500 posts. I seriously doubt that you are confused as to where to put a new thread for a non Bonnaroo artist. If so you need to go to inforoo remedial school or something.

I wasn't saying I was confused, my point was that if the Odd Future thread is where it is, why shouldn't this be allowed there as well? Odd Future aren't playing Bonnaroo, are they? Anyway, it's moved, so this is a moot point now. I'd like to talk about Big K.R.I.T. now. He's awesome.
