AMC mainly, which sucks because it is only included on the package I have & up , which is fucking expensive. I also enjoy "The 90's Are All That" on Teen Nick. I get my Rugrats, All That, & Doug on on the regz.

This makes me feel much better about canceling my Direct TV. Now I just have to confirm that I'm not in a contract.
Changing cities (and to one two hours away) within weeks of the festival - doesn't seem very good.
Not suspect at all. They had a conflict that couldn't be resolved with Bangor's Waterfront Music Series and decided to move to Portland which is wayyy more convenient anyway. Honestly, I'm not sure why they haven't always held it in Portland. Maybe this will be a permanent solution which will easily bring more attendees and attention to the event.

Absolutely agree with you. Portland is a lot more accessible to the Boston metro area than Bangor. I've been to Portland many times in the last few years but I can't remember ever going to Bangor.

Bangor is nothing more than the last pit stop on the way to one of these two things:
"A Letter to Our Fans [via previously posted article at Dear Fans, The KahBang Film Festival screenings and FREE art exhibits will proceed as planned this year, but we are extremely saddened to announce that the Music Festival is not able to go forward in 2014, and with a heavy heart we must cancel our scheduled music performances. The community in Portland has been great and welcomed us with open arms but several setbacks in our planning the last few weeks, including the loss of some major sponsors, has made it very difficult for us to stage our music events. We are sorry to our fans for letting them down, but we just don’t have the ability to maintain our vision for the event for this year." READ MORE HERE.
I was in Portland on Friday and that rumor/news was being whispered all throughout ArtsWalk
(I ate at Nosh, drank at Taco Escobarr, went crate digging at Strange Maine and saw a show at the State Theater. All of it was fantastic, as Portland always is)
Has anyone heard any whispers about bringing music back and doing it in Portland this year?
I get the State Theatre/Port City Music Hall e-mail newsletter. If anything significant was coming to Portland, odds are good they'd be the ones announcing it.
Also I think it would be really, really smart for KahBang to partner with the State/Port City in the early planning stages in order to be successful. Portland really is the best place for this festival they just need to plan better for 2015.
