If you want to talk about the refs fucking over a team, that team would be the kings in that western conference finals aganist the lakers. something like a 30 shot free throw disparity.
the mavs lost to the heat in 06 because dirk and crew were choke artists. not saying they are now, but the def. were then.
Also, since when is StubHub owned by Ticketmaster? I thought StubHub was owned by ebay? But maybe the ownership trees farther up, wouldn't surprise me much.
Nothing owns eBay (unless you count the shareholders). It's EBAY on the NASDAQ.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
So it seems that there are many hockey fans hoping to watch the finals at Bonnaroo. Those numbers may have dwindled due to the demise of everyone's favorite teams, but I hope the demand is still there. There is no mention of hockey on the sports bar page. Does anyone have confirmation that the Stanley Cup Finals will be shown?
I have waited 31 years to see my Canucks hoist Lord Stanley's mug. I will do anything to see these games. If there is even a remote possibility that the games might be preempted for regular season baseball, I will lose my mind.
Hopefully there will be a good contigent of Bruins fans to back up their talk here....but after tonight dare I say Lightning fans?
I really hope that they show the nhl finals as well. I want Tampa to beat Boston, but only because I hate the Bruins. Unfortunately if it's Tampa vs. Vancouver interest will probably be limited.

Hey guys at the BonnaRoo Sports Bar (Stubhub) someone there representing StubHub was walking around taking "souvenir" pictures of groups of two or three people all weekend. I actually took 3 over the course of the weekend with different people and was told I could find them online at a specific place later.
Well my buddy lost the original slip she gave us, so we are unsure where to find theses pictures. None of my group hardly took any pictures and we would all LOVE to find these somewhere..DO you guys have any idea where they would be or remember seeing those guys out there?
I have done quite a bit of looking online and cant find any hints or anything even mentioning it. I also wrote an email to stubhub but they havent responded in two days now.
Besides that, Thanks for the great BonnaRoo everyone..
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

This was an awesome addition to Bonnaroo as far as I'm concerned. Air conditioned. High tables with chairs, a bunch of entertaining games (darts, foosball, ping pong, video games, etc.) and best of all.....the HD screens that weren't playing sports had the webcast for Bonnaroo playing. I enjoyed some of Mavis Staples set from the cool air in the sports bar.

It seemed pretty legit to me. I think that spot was empty space last year. It gave another air conditioned spot for people to go in to. There didn't seem to be any sound bleed, so it didn't impact the stuff around it. Most importantly, they played Stanley Cup Finals there which was great even though I didn't make it there for it.
Thought it was great when they decided on Saturday to walk around and tell people to stop sitting/sleeping on the ground (because on Friday you couldn't play any games due to people sleeping).

Sunday night at Roo with about 200 other screaming Mavs fans (and a few Miami douchers who quietly slunk away at the end), more than 700 miles from home watching our team win the NBA championship, made it all worthwhile.
This sounds like it was terrific - hope it's back next year, because hell, if there's a spot on Saturday afternoon where there isn't a show I want to see, I have no problem grabbing a spot with a beer in the AC and watching some baseball or something.
How big was the space? And where in Centeroo was it located?
plenty of space to move around when it wasn't packed with basketball or hockey fans watching a game.
or in the middle of the afternoon when it was scorching outside.
it was located directly next to/behind the silent disco.
